how do you make it so when you insert a cube or a shape that it doesnt just insert inside of the first shape you made
You need to go to the object mod then add a shape, if you add one in the edit mode it will just be inside of the first shape

how do you scale it like that
I press S to scale and to select the axis i want to scale i press X, Y or Z keys.
If you don't know how to scale anything in blender, you really should be learning the basics before doing something so complicated
for me i see no object part you know how to fix it?
nvm i meant when i exit edit mode i cant select the cylinder and selects everything
