- FOOTBATHING EWES & LAMBS
Today I'm walking you all through my foot bathing procedure and how I go about foot bathing the sheep in the flock at home. It may not be perfect but this seems to work well for me.

Interesting video. We done our lambs last week aswell for scald. Easy to cure really just the hassle of getting them all through it. Never seen copper zinc and formalin all in one together. Copper sulphate we use and we find it good.
Newish product but we think it works really well
Hi Will, could we have a review of the mobile handling system and your reasons for choosing it?
I will definitely! It’s coming next week ☺️
Hi Sir, can you please share the layout of your handling facility. It looks really nice, I want to adopt it
Hi there unfortunately I’ve sold this system
This should be easy but they're sheep coment resonates with any that has sheep.
You’re so right
I wonder about footbath liquid ones mixed, you leave it in the tray and use it when needed? You have it outdoor, can it be affected by rain?So you going to have a dog😁👍bitch or dog?I'm sure you will make video about it😜
Just ask what u do if they shit in the football bath
That chemicals kill any bacteria so nothing to worry about. But I clean it out and make a new one every 250ish☺️
Hi, is that a drafter in your race?
Hi Ivan Yes it is☺️ the Ritchie draft pro
Hi Will, I'm getting on a bit and if I do a full day handling sheep that night I'm clean knackered. Was thinking of getting combi clamp or drafter to take a bit of the hard work out of it. Can't justify both, which one would you recommend? Also putting the weigh system in it to start recording performance. Great to see a young person with so much interest in the sheep.
I chose the draft pro as I can weigh and draft at the same time. whereas the combo clamp it’s much easier to treat the sheep when they’re clamped but they are twice the money. So as I’m younger and wanted to invest in the weighing side more than needing the help catching I went draft pro. They’re built really well, but just a bit heavy fit it
@@CowleyHillFarm You can get a manual 3 way shedder for front of combi clamp or semi auto one were you press buttons. I would imagine it would be a lot slower to weigh through the clamp.
It’s one of those really. Whichever you think would suit you best as they both do a good job
Feet problems are such a pain in the ass.
Tell me about it!
You never got a dog you have young pup in training
I will do soon! I’ve just got other things in the pipeline. As soon as they’re sorted that’s the next big thing
