You know Belgium is a rich country and we got the basic to react if something bad happend but if their is a war they wil put alot of more money in our army, sfg, dsu

A savoir que deux unités sont présentes sur ces images. La première unité est le CGSU, haut commandement des forces spéciales de la police fédérale. La deuxième unité est la B.A.A traduisez brigade anti agression (ceux en noir dans les images de l'arrestation). Le CGSU est l'équivalent du GIGN pour la France et la B.A.A est l'équivalent de la BAC.
Est ce que tu connais l'équivalent du 1er rpima ou encore des commando marines français pour les belges ?
Les commando de marine chez nous sont simplement les SF (spécial forces) qui utilisent les même tactiques et entrainements que les navy seals donc ils font terre air mer ils sont complets. Le premier rpima au vue de ses missions ressemble simplement au paracommando

We are actually not allowed to use that ammo, we have a less lethal round now, with less power let me say. It's a shame, but I can understand it.
Kubar You mean the civillian version in the US? Because our DSU and Spec ops do use the FMJ Round
Well as far as I know, using the Five - Seven almost every day witch uses the same round, they switched to a less penetrating round because if you shoot through a wall it will fly trough 2 rooms after that, I think that could be in the interest of the DSU as well because they mostly work inside buildings and small spaces with a lot of people, but I could be wrong though.

There is 5 days of training in my city (Belgium) from 16 to 21 September. They will simulate the extraction of Belgian nationals by helicopter and release of hostages in a school in a territory controlled by rebels. They asked to have 100 civilians volunteers for the exercise. They have already warned us not to panic if we hear gunshots, etc ...

roadhouse699 ever seen the effect of a 7,62x39mm on human tissue? One hit of those and your career is over. These men are amongst the best of europe. Terrorists use AK47's here. Those ain't no school shootings :p even some kids in Molenbeek carry guns around. So when we go out we're careful not to mess with the wrong guys. I can hold myself in a fight but without armor or anything a 9mm will stop me..
I'm well aware of the importance of armor, I'm just making an observation that they have a shitload of it.
roadhouse699 CQC is very dangerous and it's more likely to get hit because of the distance. + it's the hardest unit to get in to here, SFG is easier to get in. The screening is harder on DSU. But physical properties are equal i suppose.
Recruits have to be able to do large numbers of pull-up and dips while wearing a 20Kg+ Bulletproof vest. This is only one of the entry requirements. Further training follows to become even tougher and stronger. But they have immense stamina and strength so moving around with the armor becomes a second nature i suppose.
20kg for just the vest? or is that the leg pads, arm pads, and pauldrons too? Or does the vest have ammo n' shit in it?
It is the full vest with the plates in em. Shoulder and leg pads not included. It was on a documentary where recruits for the SFG had to do this exercise.

From where did you get the cinematic footage of the special agents? Btw, nice movie!
They were asked to work together with a belgium ( crime) tv series to make it as real as possible, thats why there is cine footage of them.
They were asked to be part of Vermist and Het Vonnis, a Flemish TV series and movie. Most of those guys were POSA though, they are part of the DSU but do not do interventions and counter-terror. But they do wear the same uniforms.
