- In today’s VLOG, I have some traveling partners and I have a chance to compare my ride habits to theirs, beautiful forested rides, great weather, quick look at some junior school sumo training, keeping up with my new friends, trying to find a place to set up camp, u sing the drone to look for a spot, using my new camping gear, no service to contact Anny… (sorry ☹), eating a camp meal…. Dealing with me talking to myself on camera.

I love the kids doing sumo!! I've been a fan since I was a kid, watching with my Dad. We used to have to record the matches in the middle of the night here in the UK and everyone would bully me over it. I was a weird Autistic girl who liked really weird things, living in a small Yorkshire mining town where everyone was still living in the 1950's in the 1980's and 1990's...
Poor Anny so worried! I am just now finding the vlogs myself. Your travel companions sound like fun!

Matt, I notice that you pedal without toe clips. Regarding your knee issues, I am a chiropractor in Santa Cruz, CA. Pedaling without toe clips only engages the muscles in the front of your thigh, the quadriceps. Adding toe clips , and pulling up on the pedals, works your hamstrings, the muscles on the back of your thigh. The quadriceps and hamstring insert on opposite sides of the lower leg bone, the tibia. When they are both engaged while pedaling, their antagonistic pull on the knee has a stabilizing effect on the knee, reducing stress and trauma. ..which should help your knee(s) last longer..giving your fans more opportunity to groove on your journey...Ja-yoe!

As for the bear threat, Matt needn't be the fastest but just not the slowest. That's all it takes to escape. ;=(
I told you that drone would save your life on this trip. It wasn't a life or death situation with finding the road down to the lake, but sometime in the future the drone may actually give you a view of a route to safety that you would not see otherwise. I'm real big on packing light, but I think that drone is worth its weight.

you won't hear a million dollar worth echoing in the tunnel with the car but the cycling with the fellow .best camping cite before the lake and behind the hill . are there stars in the sky ? i remember the lighting flying caught up in your camera on the riverside at your campsite a couple of week's ago in seoul .

Attach to your drone and send way up high , message may go through.
Worth a try.
May loose both though and obviously if you use your phone as the screen when flying , its not an option.

i have to edit it first... takes time.. and a plug... and a table...
truly amazing that you can do all that and try to vlog. if you ever see how he does it, it takes quite a bit of time to edit a 10 to 15 min vlog. i never believed it until i saw it.
