I've been too focused on making a PS2 home LAN, their LAN-tunneling and connecting to PS2 online fan servers to get that far into the campaign to get these items/upgrades. Don't know how the mobile chaingun would actually come into play online, now that I recollect about defending the SWAT trucks - they are stationary.... Regardless, a pegged-out taser would be a blast in online play - especially for silly stuff like setting avatars on fire like it does in the Syphon Filter series. @@That_Handle requirements for the chaingun is basically to complete all side objectives and earn all medals, in a mission on terror mode, you could try to do that in one go on most missions except the last, the last mission for some reason has uneven amount of enemies for both headshots and taser incaps, meaning you can only do one at a time and have to restart to achieve all medals. as for mp. Dunno about that, i mostly semi speedrun the campaign only, never touched the multiplayer and honestly have no intentions, as i mostly focus on singleplayer. although from what i've heard mp was (is) quite interesting.

A curiosity : During cutscenes when the jornalist speaks the clock that appears on the screen always match you consoles internal clock. If you play the game now will show your real time on screen

A cool detail in this game not many will notice is that the ragdolls depending on how they land will make a bone breaking sound. my friend and I discovered this by shooting that medic with a shotgun at the start of a mission and her being catapulted towards the brick wall. I wish this got added to backwards compatibility on Xbox Series X.

Hellllll yes. I love this damn game. I rented it for ps2 on a whim and was just floored by it. I didn't understand the lukewarm reviews back then, either.

Same. It's one of the few rented games I ever 100%-ed, and I had a blast from start to finish.
Sadly, the 100% completion bonus was a bit of a let-down. Replacing the pistol with the minigun you normally only got during the rail shooter sections was actually a hinderance for me, as I used that pistol for the majority of my time playing the game.

I remember picking this game up on a whim back in the day, not knowing a thing about it. But, despite its simplistic premise, I probably had more hours of fun with it than I did a lot of the other contemporary games of the time. Truly an unappreciated gem.

Love this game. Played the PS2 version a year or two ago and along with Black, it’s one of the most fun and satisfying first person shooters of the generation. I especially like the short, linear levels with multiple objectives. Gives it a very arcadey vibe which makes me want to go back to previous levels to see everything it has to offer.
