Blake i use 10 kilograms of biohome ultimate in each of my eheim 2262 filters these are the big boys, love the biohome and my nitrates stay low on my discus tanks
Hello- I don’t have a video prior to adding Biohome but I will share this video showing a water test I conducted while biohome was cycled in my filter: czcams.com/video/2_elp-DBSvI/video.html Keep in mind, I’m feeding beef heart 2-3 times a day which is pretty messy stuff in an aquarium. Even with that being said, my Nitrates and Ammonia are nearly zero with this stuff even after weeks without water changes. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! Fluval is great. My go-to as far as canister filtration. I’ve had zero problems and they are set up well for quick maintenance. I’ve had the 306, 107 and an FX 6 I just purchased for a tank upgrade that is in the works. Thanks for watching! Blake-
Actually In this Fluval 306, water enters along the side of the vertical sponges traveling to the bottom, then upwards. The fine polishing should be on the bottom where the water first touches. As far as chemical, not everyone (myself including) uses chemical media. But either way, thanks for watching!

You’re right… I’ve tested it, and have had no issues. Thanks for watching!
Filter in totally wrong order. Mechanical, biological, chemical. You got Mechanical on bottom 🤔 wrong!
