Thank you. I will be on vacation in France next month and when there's a grill to use, I love it! A shallot sauce is excellent with shellfish. Since you avoided vinegar in the sauce, the dip works with wine with the lovely clams. Uprated. What a fun idea! Clams on the grill!!

Spice up your clams in a bowl cover with a napkin and put in the microwave for two minutes. Very easy and they taste good because they are bathing in the clam juice.

I don’t understand how the marinade got inside the closed oysters after they opened….but I do know that with a martini in hand anything is possible.
Good video and interesting way to do clams. BTW, too many olives in your martini. What was your son trying to do?- give you a upset stomach? One to two olives (tops).
To me it would make more sense to toss in the marinade after they're open.You can't marinate the shells.

What's the point of marinating the clams when they haven't even opened yet? You're essentially just coating the shells and all that liquid is gonna evaporate once the clams are cooked on the barbie. It'd make more sense to cook them plain first, then pour the sauce over after they're done and the shells have opened up.

The clams actually steam from that liquid. It does make it's way into the clam. But, good question!

I like him, I just had clams today . . I steamed them in a pot with uh little salt, pepper and lemon juice. They taste like **** compared to these I'm sure LOL
