  • This young Connemara would not go through the small stream so hacking in that direction had become impossible. After other professionals had tried Michael Peace drove down to Devon to help. After 20 minutes the horse made a decision to cross, as he repeated this you can see how please he is to overcome his fear. The smile of the owner at the end is priceless.
    'Pressure and release' is horribly broad and over perpetuated metric that at its extreme could be ( and commonly is) interpreted as beating a horse and then not beating a horse. The skill is in distilling one's approach to the point that the pressure is indistinguishable from the release. It's within this moment of 'calm" that true progress is achieved'. Michael Peace
