    You can’t declare independence war on day 1 because you need the imperial incident to end first. It isn’t a bug.

      So if France has already taken the mainlands from England I shouldn’t click to PU with France? Austria isn’t the emperor luckily so I could probably 2v1

    24:37 IIRC in order to release Savoy you would need to get the province with their primary culture (Piedmontese I think).

    Hey Everyone, this will be a multi part guide, It won't come together why they are the best for world conquest from just the first part, just a warning haha.

      I checked out your Brandenburg WC run, and I wanna thank you for putting out quality content!
      I learnt quite a bit and I'm trying to do a WC myself as them. It's nothing serious, but I guess pushing myself will help me learn the game faster?
      Most content creators just focus on early game content and mid game and lategame guides and more advanced gameplay guides are missing online and watching your playthroughs have been amazing help.
      Thanks you, and best of luck! I'll be following your content and I hope you'll gain more subscribers.

      Yeah, I'm pretty invested in making this channel grow. Trying to like everything I see. I've watched the Austria WC a few times. 1750 in my current game and fairly confident I will achieve it and have a shot at one faith.

    you couldn't release savoy because it needs to be his primary culture

    • @PB4UG02Bed
      @PB4UG02Bed Před 9 měsíci +3

      That is the issue, you need the primary culture for the nation you wish to release.

    • @dd.mm.ll.
      @dd.mm.ll. Před 9 měsíci +1

      Not necessarily the primary culture, but within a culture group

    Hi, good video. The savoy thing also got me once. The problem is they begin with all that provinces but their primary culture is piedmontese, and the culture in the provinces that savoy have out of italy is not in the culture group of piedmontese (latin I think), so that's why you can only liberate savoy from their oringinal provinces in italy. You can only liberate nations from the same culture group of their primary culture.

    Why not setting Provence as a rival when you're literrally about to attack them? :D Some wasted PP right there.

    Honestly this is why I love this game so much. Even after some 2k hours I still learn new things, see new strategies, new ideas for the game.
    Thousands of hours and there are still new things to do, new ways of using the game's mechanics that I haven't thought of before.

    Commenting here as it is the newest film from the burgundy series. You could actually cheese the start of the game a little bit more by royal marriage with bohemia. There is a big chance that your dynasty will spread to their throne before they get their event to pick a ruler (idk if it works with the new bohemian government type as i don't have domination dlc and i believe it comes with said dlc). Then you claim the throne and usually easily win the war as AI Austria picks bohemia as a rival most of the time and thus will not defend them. Also the event of burgandian inheritance specifies that by choosing to fall under a union you will annex any vassal/pu in HRE or french region. I tested it and you do actually annex bohemia for free.

    @juliusbruker4798 Před 9 měsíci +1

    Cool video! Maybe consider forming Hannover bevor Prussia for the restore union cb on England but this looks very smooth :D

  • @Domenic-un6ek
    @Domenic-un6ek Před 8 měsíci +1

    To annex the entire lorraine area it gives like 60 AE but you can ally the pope and use favours to lower his opinion of provence thus making him eligible for excommunication

  • @IronWolf123
    @IronWolf123 Před 9 měsíci +1

    For Brandenburg, they were neutral to you but you can flip friendly and they will be more inclined to ally you

    12:15 - This glitch is caused by union by event. If you restart the game you will have the CB

    Cant you do the same with Bohemia or Austria and its easier tho? Im doing a Bohemia run with the following switch tags -> Austria, keep austrian ideas, Croatia, Sardinia, Prussia, Germany, you could also form the Holy roman empire but im not convinced, with that having a 15% admin efficency by 1550 is pretty easy and you have the unions of poland, lithuania and hungary also. Another thing is with bohemia mission you get 15% permanent annexation cost plus 10% from sardinia piedmont + 15 from austria ideas, making annexations cost around 100 mana points for almost anything

  • @SuperMooshrooms

    Before I knew you could just ally the electors to dismantle the HRE I would just co beligerrate every elector and fight to occupy all their capitals at the same time.

      You really do just have to have a better computer. Try not to run anything else while playing EUIV. If you're on a laptop, make sure it's not overheating. Otherwise you just need to try and eliminate as many tags as possible, lol. Dismantling the HRE by 1550 has resulted in the 17th century being faster than the 16th in more than one game for me.

    im playing austria right now.. i feel like maybe i might be playing the best nation for WC... ive got -70% annexation costs right now... i just integrated byzantium the size of modern greece in like a year? pretty much every war im integrating.. did hungary.. now bohemia almost fully integrated in a 266 days on 85% - i did the usual get pu on hungary, bohemia, milan, poland & lithuania.. got byzantium vassal & destroyed otto.. spread east quickly to take out qara and timurids.. im actually hoping to become mughal hre emperor.. not sure if its possible.. trying to change culture to kurds... cos i was told u can become mughals with persian culture? although i might need to change to muslim, so not sure how to do that easily... and id lose hre emperorship so would have to convert back to catholic and get it back again i guess... too much hassle? anyway i went diplo, quality, influence ideas.. austrian first idea gives -15% annex cost, influence gives -25% annex cost, -10% for integrated admin policy from having diplo and influence, an event gives another 15%... i forget the name of it, and then 5% from nobility integration policy and i have diplo rep +16... i dunno if i have any other integration reductions i cant find them.. seems kinda OP to me.. if i keep allying/royal marrying catholics and save scumming so they never get heirs i could have most of europe in 200 years or less i guess.. just get pu over every big nation and integrate it in a few years (after the 50 year wait)
