I'm glad i came across this video
I would of been the forcer 😂
Extremely helpful... Many Thanks 😉👍
So i took one off. It sounds loose inside when I shake it. Is that normal?
I've been told Ford uses a lot of locktight,.....bolts are cheap and snap easily.
I have a 2001 Mercury Sable LS,.....Gonna try to replace TPS this weekend without throwing a fit?
Gonna do it with throttle body on car.
I am on here because of this problem. I snapped both right off after being careful (I tried at least). I'm looking for the bolt size I luckily snapped the heads off and could put some small bolts on that I had to re-thread... thus I don't know the diameter and length of the stock bolts. Guessing people are thread locking the heck out of them after installation?
Wouldn't cleaning the throttle plate fix a bad position indication?
No. Did that and it didnt work.
@@bangyahead1 Apparently not. I even replaced the TPS and it still reads 20% at idle. It's some kind of law in the computer system.
Hey that makes tour f150 like not accelerate bc i bought a 25 dollar amazon tps and my truck is like no power at all and it doesnt run well and i have to go a 45 and the ln it goes normal
Clean your throttle body m8
