  • After months of debates and delays, the US Senate voted 80 to 19 on Tuesday to advance a foreign aid package that would supply $95 billion worth of aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.
The bill entails $61 billion for Ukraine, $26 billion for Israel, and $8 billion for the Indo-Pacific, namely Taiwan. Some Senate leaders, such as Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell, are hoping to see the bill passed in an expedited manner.
A bill to ban TikTok in the U.S. was also added to the package in an effort to gain more votes in the Senate.

It would be nice if at least one network would make the effort to publish the actual breakdown of this money instead of making it sound like we are shipping cash in these amounts straight to these other countries. You are feeding the propaganda of the opposition by not doing so. The money "for Ukraine" as an example, covers considerable funding for our own troops deployed in the region, and replacement munitions for our own military. The money "for Israel" includes considerable humanitarian support for the Palestinian people.

What I think about printing zillions of foreign aid non-stop...is not printable in this venue.

Way to go Senate...FINALLY doing something....now bring back the bi-partisan border bill...I thought the border was such A HUGE America first problem??? what happened....bring it back and then you may receive a GOLD STAR for doing what you're sent to Congress to do.

Ah, the border is being reserved for tRump as per his orders bc it would help our Great President Biden. He ordered MAGA Congress NOT to pass any border bills. He said to blame him, so blame him already and have some peace. The rest of us do. Vote Blue.

At least we know you're not Russian. They're taught to form sentences in English.

  • @UncleFordsInterrogatories

They also passed the countering the use of human shields. Which means the U.S knows all those Gazans weren't hamas.

  • @UncleFordsInterrogatories

They also said Russia is committing genocide, but not you know who.

A Muslim representative voted for this package knowing $26 billion was going to Israel. If that doesn't show the world how much we love Ukraine, I don't know what will. I'm so relieved Ukraine will finally get help. Mad that more money is going to Israel.
