Decay - Telephone Exchange, Tradeston Glasgow.
This red brick and sandstone neo-Baroque Telephone exchange located in Tradeston in Glasgow was built by the Office of Public Works Architectural Department (later Glasgow Corporation City Engineer Department).
It is an important indicator of the history and development of Glasgow's telecommunications industry in an area that has changed immensely during the last 50 years. (Historic Scotland).
This building was entered into Buildings at risk register of Scotland in 2007 and is currently abandoned and its condition has been rated as Poor.
