I attended the fantastic Cruise Crew Paul Walker Memorial Meet, which every year attracts a great number of attendees. This year the police stepped in to help control the meet as well, whilst allowing it to go ahead. However, their presence was needed further down the road.

Noticed car scenes really changed the younger generation seem to have no discipline or self control and at the given opportunity to do the right thing they don't, not sure what's happened
It's always been like this though. Back in the day they didn't have social media or 4k cameras in everyone's pockets to record absolutely everything, so obviously there will be a lot more publicity with car meets nowadays than back then.
Well the crash had nothing to do with the meet so what did you see this younger generation doing wrong?
The older gen scene really ended in 2011 I’d say at latest. This new age is just dreadful, can’t imagine many people past their mid-20’s would attend these. Thanks for the video Adam
For years and years I wanted to attend car meets with a show car. Finally getting a car I feel worth bringing to meets (981 cayman) and I'm actually not that bothered. It's full of youths or idiots with shitbox loud cars.
@@howardjennings1166 that’s exactly it, a few years back in or around 2007 they were good. Your best bet now is to find the other car meets that the young lads wouldn’t go to. I think Adam has covered a few of them before on here

UK car scene regarding meets is cancer nowadays, which is a shame because there are some show worthy builds driving around, unlike seas of Golf R’s,corsas, fiestas and 1 series bellends that look nearly identical.

Not worth it anymore. You go to a meet like this to show off you’re car and you end up getting your reg taken down and a warning in the post as you get treated the same as the immature. Not worth it, get a good group of mates who like cars. All chip in and get a unit and work on cars together and do road trips it’s the way forward. No dicks only you’re mates who you choose, no crap venues you go where you want and no police presence for others immaturity. This is the reason I stopped going to meets plus now a financed golf r or an s3 gets more attention and appreciation than a car that someone has built from the ground up.

Every dead person ever is turning in their grave with these popcorn maps. Needing banned at remapper level from the remap community before it gets worse... and the kids doing it need to stop it as its forcing laws on the car community like the new DB laws councils can implicate, some towns already have the machine to catch you over the DB limit so pretty soon they'll be everywhere and it's because of popcorn kids.

I may only be 22, But the only meets ive ever een to are Static meets, Sure the cars that are brought to the meet are fairly extravigent but we only ever attracted one or two police cars, theyd speak to us for 5 minutes, Talk to the lot manager and ask them if We was allowed to be here, then leave, or linger a little and talk about the cars. I couldnt imagine the paranoia of some people that race during meets and try not to get knicked, Still a stellar video nonetheless

@@DrftedAway coming from the max power early to late 90s era of proper car meets I'd rather these meets don't take place as they are going to force law changes on normal motorists like DB noise limit laws which some councils have already started using and put the machines to catch you up. So basically my cans on my motorbike are now a target because of these popcorn map kids.

We have a slight issue with this channel. Adam is a good guy, and some of his content is pretty good, I'm thinking his coverage of the classic, and to a degree the custom scene. The rest of the time, the channel appeals to the under 12s, which is pretty shit!!

They caused an accident the other day and near killed some woman it was on the news if you heard it? It was this exact thing that caused it they went through a red without sirens.
