I have the Xiaomi 11T Pro. The main issue with this phone I have since new, after about 2 months in use, when using that 120w charger it's after messing up my display, when over heating from charging sometimes my display malfunctions , flickering like crashing, the battery drains too quick lately I've noticed soon as it gets to 64% it drops to 0 in 10 mins, I have this device 12 months now and it's my first Xiaomi device I bought . I'm considering switching to the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus. Should I switch????
I wouldn't switch. 11t pro is a flagship. Redmi is only a midrange phone
@@DariuszTech 11T Pro is not a flagship, as display is freezing up when fully charges have to slightly bend screen to get it working again, Battery is wrecked as it drains from 64% to 0% in 10 mins . It's definitely not a Flagship phone, I bought it for €500 a year ago and Redmi Note 12 pro plus is €500
do you use an app for your pictures / videos?
I have the redmi note 12 pro but when i take pictures or videos it does not look as good. But i am not experienced in photography

hey there! just wanted to know your thoughts on which one is better, the samsung galaxy a34 or redmi note 12 pro 5G? one of the advantages of a34 that i saw online is 4yrs of OS updates. here in the Philippines a34 has a slight higher price between 35 to 40 USD than the note 12 pro. so i was wondering which one should i get between the 2.

I just bought the redmi note 12 pro and unfortunately all I can say is that camera wise I prefer my previous note 8 pro. The redmi note 12 pro's main camera is alright and in some occasions better especially in low light but moving onto the front camera the quality is really poor. I honestly didn't expect that. It is definitely a step or even a couple of steps down from the redmi note 8 pro. I think it's a shame considering the fact the redmi note 8 pro launched back in 2019 and still provides way better images. That's definitely not what i expected going into this. But I guess it is what it is. Hope this helps someone that is looking for some real information.

Dude you're speaking from my heart. I still have my beast Redmi Note 8 pro since February 2020 (bought it around 185€ at that time), and it still delivers! I bought 12 pro for my father and to be honest, I don't see many differences. The only 2 differences I spotted were the screen's refresh rate and sometimes the 12 pro's camera had much more "happy" and warm colours, but still we're comparing 1 phone from late 2019 and the other which came early of 2023...
The Redmi Note 8 Pro is still one of the best budget cameras on Redmi portifolio. Few devices have better cameras on his price range.
If only Xiaomi provided more OS support for their budget lines

Ois is poor. Selfie shots actually
only 4 mp due to quad system used also sometimes faces had a reddish tint . Ultrawide shots are pixelated , light flare issues and no use in night mode. 2 mp macro isn't worth using. A.i mode makes green colour look oversaturated. Auto focus is a hit or miss .only android 12. I should have bought the a53 Samsung instead better camera and cheaper.

Both very similar. If you can stretch your budget go with Honor 90.

It's all depending what do you care the most?
A34 has 4k selfie, expandable storage and brighter display. On the other side Redmi has faster charging speed. Better main camera, more features such as built-in infrared port or slo mo 960fps.

I used to have Samsung A54 (same camera sensor as Redmi Note 12 Pro), sold it a few days ago and now have Redmi Note 12 Pro. I'm IMPRESSED by the general use and how the camera works, provides so much better photos than A54! Shame on Samsung, plus Xiaomi gives better battery life, case and a charger. Samsung knows people don't want to buy their phones anymore and it knows it's losing the game, this is why they give 5 years of update. Yeah, but truth is most of us change phone once every year or two, so 5 years of update is a catch for stupid people.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I would pick the a54 all day long. It has a 4k selfie, expandable storage, ip67 rating, brighter display and adaptive refresh rate. Android 13 out of the box and better performance.

Bought the phone yesterday for my son set up cursed , 100 apps deleted felt , advertising disabled in 6 places that it is now really ad-free .

I have the Galaxy s21 fe and this cheap China phone has for me the better screen 😁
Brighter the white is white and not somehow cream like the s21 fe .
Have it fully charged and lo and behold 7 hrs sot with 120 hz standard settings half WLAN half LTE .
In auto mode the screen also gets brighter under the sun ☀️
I mostly just snap ducks few flowers kids and what can I say for Otto normal this main camera is top notch .
Have photographed with the s21 fe and the Redmi the same motif both look top at first glance.
Now it comes but enlarged the images and zoomed you see only once what Samsung for a software shit delivered.
The pictures then look like painted.
So I must say the natural look of the redmi has what.
Video is also good the few running around with it, but make short films on birthdays, or when the best buddy has peed himself drunk 😁

My brother, the story is not about the number of mega-pixels, believe me. Samsung phones have less mega-pixels and better imaging quality. The difference between Pro and Pro Plus is very small.

Let me explain. Even though the redmi note 12 pro has a better Sony IMX766 sensor which has been used in flagship phones such as Xiaomi 12 but the image processing is way better on a34. The colours are more natural. Please check the comparison video I made between a54 and a34 to see how well the galaxy a34 performs. Hope this helps. Have a great day 😉😁👍

@DariuszTech got no problem with faster changing I only charge once a day and as for headphone yeah it's a let down from Samsung, I wasn't really expecting it on the A34 5G but I'm used to it now.
@DariuszTech also, I wanted the Samsung a52s but I'm no longer sure since it looks old compared to a34 5G but I like the punch hole on a52s than the outdated notch on a34 .

User interface sucks and camera is not upto it's mark. Sony camera but the redmi didn't do well with the color tones and the sharpness.
Bluetooth connection sucks and no different tone for notifications (same with the ringing tone)
