Targetted whistles are way worse than any boos, because they are purposely trying to cut through the noise to spoil the shot. Pretty much the only thing that can actually effect a shot.

We're going to see a lot of Luke vs Luke rematches in this entire year, but Littler is getting Humphrie's number lately. It's going to be one of the rivalries of the year until the next world championship when Littler gets his due.

Crowd's dirty tricks did nothing to Bully Boy. Absolutely nothing. That's how much more composure he has these days. He was a little lucky that MVG completely screwed up that last leg but he made the most of it. Price woulda been up against it whoever he faced in that final. His doubling was really bad at times... that'll be a concern going forward.
Love to see the crowd giving everyone else shit except for Gezzy. Gezzy’s worlds above smith. Would love to see respect for the players in every match. But nothing makes me happier than seeing the English players booed and seeing how they play under the same pressure. PS if it wasn’t for the English giving Gezzy shit there wouldn’t be any “dirty tricks” from the crowd

It did look rather cold, but I think that was only because the crowd were being such idiots with all the whistling going on. If that hadn't happened, I'm sure he would've given Littler a big hug instead of that half-hearted handshake.
I'll always remember Eric Bristow coming on stage at Cardiff, smiling and waving while they were wild with anger, howls of derision, Eric stuffed their captain and left the stage , smiling and waving!

@@edwardowen4488 I think for most Darts players the booing isn't that much of an issue. Sure it's not on your side, but at least it is one continuous predictable noise.
Whistling is short, sharp, pitched, and unpredictable. And unnerves all and sundry at the wrong times.
The whistling is what brings the sport down, and one wonders what the players, referees, and even the tournament sponsors think of that.
