@Think_Carefully_Please that's true but if it's an unpaid position, noone will do it. As it is, the bodybuilders themselves get peanuts in prize money. The industry is suffering. Bodybuilders like Kai Greene are smart cuz they're using social media to make the $$$$$$$$...

Kudos to Milos for correctly defining the word "symmetry" (left vs. right side balance). Most people in the industry use the word "symmetry" when they really mean "proportion". Just a pet peave of mine!

In the dictionary it actually also means a harmonious balance or pleasing proportions. I'm thinking that wad an older usage of the term because just about all the older bodybuilding guys use it in that way.

2. Need to vote on a new (paid) athletes rep (Athlete rep should rep athletes first; not corporate stooge)
3. Need to annually poll pros re: basic hot button issues with thought out solutions (Pay, symmetry, posing, division access, point system, etc.)
4. BB will never have ad supported linear distro in current client bc of steroid misnomers - conservative advertisers reluctant to associate

a true athletes rep doesn't work for the organization itself , and is not self appointed or chosen by the Ifbb. Ya know the term, conflict of interest. IN sports that are know to legally use "Athletes representatives" they must be elected by a body of athletes. He also made this about himself and took offense, when a guy in the live audience of a podcast was simply asking a question about things that could improve or be better for the athletes, precisely what a true athletes rep would be wanting positively.
There should be a voting process in place for athletes to elect a rep every few years.

DENNIS !!! I hope you read this, that comment Fouad made was during the time that the guys got together in New Jersey on Father’s Day weekend. That video was uploaded maybe three weeks after it had happened. Bob says I just saw him this last week and he didn’t say anything if he had a problem. Bob feels like I just saw him and he thrashes me a couple days later. Don’t know if it really make a difference.
Bob always gets pissy when he gets called out. Seen it happen with Palumbo.and others.
The email that should be sent to all new IFBB pros that contains information and such NEEDS to be sent from the athlete's rep...so Bob, all you do is talk, and NEVER follow with action...Bob is full of excuses.

Symmetry and posing don't matter when you're gonna select the winner anyways.
But they should consider reintroducing the posing round with a separate prize (monetary or otherwise) that doesn't affect the overall outcome.

This was one of the best podcast I’ve seen in while as far as great ideas brought up that could further our sport. We need more shows like this with maybe Jake Wood, Tyler Manion, Steve Weinberger, and others that are in the IFBB upper management that could actually make these type of changes.

POSING should be the crowning and consecration of the peculiarities a body has reached,all in a sort of “tale” ( or parade if u wanna say so)Those peculiarities should have been showed in the previous rounds, by which a judge can se what an athlete has brought( of new, fresh or not) Posing is the proof of the domination of one its own physicality over the static presence on a stage: it’t the last hit of chisel a bbuilder can give to his body till the last moment before the final exam.

The issue people have is Bob literally says when he's talking about new IFBB pros getting an email with information about being a pro and him being the 'athletes rep' that its 'not his thing'. I think almost everyone would agree that should be the 'thing' of the athletes rep. Almost everytime I hear a pro talk about this they open with that they don't even know he is the rep. Surely that is, at part, on bob.
If the rep had just ONE job, that would literally be it. He’s clueless.

This is the kind of discussions bodybuilding needs. Great stuff! You can bet the powers were watching this. Bob had a great point about the pay par view codes. That is genius. Now you can see the real followers and what they bring to the table. Gotta figure out how the athletes can make a decent pro wage. Nobody is buying the pay per view as of today. You ever seen the numbers? They are dismal. The shows aren't even sold out. They says a lot. Its a lot like the Oakland As. Nobody shows up.

I completely agree with Milos about the posing round. Why out so much work into posing/artistic routine if it's not going to be judged or judged correctly? It's just "entertainment", but not judged by the judges? Someone help me to understand please! I also agree with Bob about the qualifications for the Olympia as well.
The problem with the pay per view idea is that nobody knows what time to tune in for whatever divisions it is that they like to watch and we don’t want to have to keep checking back in all day until the open has started. Also some of the costs of the PPV have been ridiculous. If they can time the shows better and give the customers a timeline for the event I think it would help a lot

You can create judging criteria that judges need to follow. Idk if taking the whole round out was the best idea. Also if there is something on the table for change that involves the athletes a committee should be created. Bob chairs the committee and then you have a mix of current athletes, former athletes, and officials to help decide what to do. The committee makes a report to the ifbb and then they have that input from their constituents
I think it would be cool to do an overall with classic 212 open and maybe throw in a people’s champ from open. I’d just do that at the Olympia
Bob has taken Fouads words completely out of context. Bob may have done things for bodybuilding in the past, but that does not mean he has done something as ATHLETES REP. He has done absolutely nothing in the last five years for the athletes. Hes more for the federation than the athletes. Fouad was saying that someone needs to constantly represent the athletes, NOW. Bob does not.

I've had Gout many times before. When you have a Gout flair up at its worst, the touch of a bed sheet will make you scream like you're in labor! Its crazy the pain the you feel. My foot was 3x the size! Alopurinol at 3mg is the answer.

We still need to take in consideration of the length of time when it comes to shows. We have a lot more divisions today With a lot more athletes.
On too many people turning pro and basically quitting/retiring from competing. STOP awarding procards at the pro qualifiers. Instead award the opportunity to compete as a pro. You don't become a card carrying IFBB PRO UNTIL you compete in at least ONE IFBB pro show. Just an idea.

I ate a whole big can of cashews one night. My stomach bloated bad & woke up the next morning with the shites. Long story short..my butt itched sooo bad for several days that i did some research because this wasn't a hemroid or yeast type itch. Cashews are from the same family as Poison Ivy; so I basically had poison ivy in the 2nd worst place. If they aren't processed correctly & you eat a lot this is what happens.
