yea that can be used aswell but it only limits you to 5 KMs, as far as i experienced it. its not enough

The 8.3 Bradley was my favorite vehicle and just about the only thing I played for 10 months straight. If you use the engine as an armor you can survive almost every encounter. This does not work with the later model, because it faces ammunition that just goes straight trough the engine, or can even one shot the turret with spalling. Being immune to one shot kills is one of the strongest traits a vehicle can have in War Thunder and the Bradley does it very well if you ask it nicely. This works to some extent with other APCs too in this Br, but the other APCs have small engines and the Marder has a weak gun and low ammo to fight most enemies from the front.

good video, but forgot to mention: tow 2b + tracking = bye su25s & helis.
i exclusively run 2bs and 2 belts of apfsds on the a3. you can peek over hills with the commander sights and can shoot top attack missiles at them with minimal risk.
Regarding feedback, I would like to hear more real life context to armor protection. You dedicated large portion of video to go over the armor, but it was mostly stats dumping and its effectiveness in WT. I would like to hear more about what the armor was intended to protect against and why the upgrades to armor were made in later variant.
Also some more helicopter context, pls! You are THE helicopter guy, afterall;)

hi! umm oh yea so the reason why i really didnt went deep into the history and its developement, and how it ended up from a tank that could float, or only having a cannon then the TOW missiles came up and then the armor improvement therefore ditching the entire amphibious concept, and the pentagon wars in general... it was that... i kind of feel like i might make the audience bored... and im not a history guy and i might make alot of mistakes, so i kinda stay away and stick to the history... kinda, and more heli content will come soon! :D
The armor stops heavy machine gun rounds from the side atleast, you can still go through the optics from the front. Probably could through it from the rear but idk for sure
@@Bob_Dickinson I'm kind of a history guy and believe me, history fans ( the good kind) would rather see an honest attempt at history even if it doesn't cover the whole thing or just some parts

I have 200 games in each of the Bradleys and i have some things to say. TOW launcher comes back up when you drive below 15 kmh, you dont have to stop completely. You didnt mention that cruise control 1 has 5kmh speed and allows you to fire on the move (slow but still). Also rear drive max speed is 14 kmh so you can reverse without folding the launcher.
I would reccomend to use sim sights on 8.3 Bradley (Camera from tank gunner sight in Ground vehicle Battle settings). The irl gunner sight is at the roof of the turret and lets you poke small part of your roof and TOW launcher and be almost invincible to anything that is not HE. The launchers vertical aiming angle is actually greater than main gun, so you can fire TOWs hull down even if your bushmaster cant depress. In this case the missle should be guided either from the third person view, binoculars, or commander sight on M3A3 with commander aiming disabled because it locks commander sight to main gun. Be aware that if you use binoculars, you will lose control of the missile if there is no line of sight between it and bradley.
I can attest to M3 being more competetive on 8.3 than M3A3 at 10.0, i have three nukes in M3 and zero in A3. If you are downtiered, and play against russia/israel/italy/japan, theres literally no one in the enemy team with thermals. You can pop an engine smoke, and sit inside of it with thermals on.
TOW-2B is very random, sometimes it one shots 2A4, sometimes it makes ZBD04 barrel yellow. In real life it has two explosively formed penetrators (not shaped charge, it shouldnt even trigger kontakt-1), that work almost like tandem chaped charges, with the first destroying era and second penning the roof, but gaijoob didnt model that. Its irl penetration stats are unknown, but swedish BILL 2 atgm also has an explosively formed penetrator, and the missile is about the same size, so unless theres some info im not aware of, 2B should have a lot more pen.
As for the rewiev, its good. I like the editing style and the memes. Are those "robo voice" parts fixing mistakes? The armor review part was pretty convoluted and i dont understand whats the point in explaining literally every armor plate on the bradley. I think saying that it can tank .50 cal to the side and 20mm from the front would have been enough.

tho i have to say, i didn't use the forward cruise control that much, every time i used it i didnt positioned my self very well, i do love the fact that this thing has a stabilizer to compensate for it.
although i still haven't made the Separate ATGM gun depression on the Bradley work, no matter what i did it just never worked for me and i still get stuck on the same god damn Gun reticle..., the most i did was to use the Commander sight on the A3 Bradley...
yea the robo voice are fixes on the mistakes i make during recording, the voice im using is Kinda similar to the AH-64s "Voice Assistant" thingy back in the 90s. where it would announce "Radar Searching" and these stuff. that's why i use it.

i want to get the Mi-28a in the Swedish tt cuz the hkp3 with bantams suck, i just want to know what is the difference between the swedish Mi-28a and the Mi28N? Like how worse it is compared to the one in the ussr tt?
oh sure thing mate! tho u gotta consider several things, the Premium mi28 does not have thermals, has TV guided system, and has only 8 ATGMs, These are all the things i could remember, if you want to you can purchase it

the spall liner on the m3a3 is completely inaccurate, it's amazing that they think the crew protection amounts to a tiny plate infront of the driver..

On a serious note, I would just like to remind everyone of how OP the M3A3 "Chadley" was when it was released at 8.7. This was way before any of the ATGM handling reworks were implemented (meaning pretty much every ground-launched missile could pull like 20 Gs after leaving their launch tubes) and back when the TOW-2B was flat out broken. The TOW-2B used to have 430mm of flat pen, just slightly less than the base TOW and could easily one shot basically anything with overpressure consistently, and the HEAT effect could basically go thru any sort of roof armor. The Chadley did not have TOW-2As back then and was abused to hell with TOW-2Bs, being able to easily destroy anything that was hiding behind cover as long as the missile would detonate on top of the target. This was also a time when high pen, non tandem missiles such as base TOW-2s could go through 1st generation/basic ERA such as Kontakt-1 found on the T-72AV TURMS. This was fixed around the time the Wiesel 1A2 was released, and TOW-2Bs were nerfed around the same time as well into what we know them as today. At least the top-attack missiles weren't really affected by the ATGM handling reworks.

@@anno-fw7xn You didn't even read my comment. Of the sources he does actually list most of them are terrible and are themselves unsourced articles, hardly trustworthy. The small number that are actually good refute his claims which proves he either has no capacity for critical thinking or he doesn't even read them. Remember his video on the "comb" where he showed a primary source document that said exactly what it was? He dismissed it for the sole reason that not all Shermans had one.
Even if you completely ignore the whole T-14 saga, in which instead of actually defending his claims he effectively just said "trust me bro" and tried to deflect everything, his other videos are just as bad.
His T-34 video prompted an entire 5 page fully sourced essay of corrections on r/badhistory.
Published, archive visiting, professional historians just laugh at him.
