    Thank you for doing this video. I didn’t know that I could take a peek, and tape it back down, and press it again. Thank you! Now, I think I can press perfect tumbler edges.
    Merry Christmas 2023!

      Thanks for your well wishes and your comments and support. Yes please, I always take a peek before I fully pull it off because once you do pull it off there is no lining back up.

    I am new to sublimation and I really like the way you explain everything. Although I am having lots of
    problems and the seam, top and bottom.

    • @atprints
      @atprints  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for your comment. It will all come together. Just make sure to get the correct measurements and pay closer attention to the taping around the top and bottom. What I will also say is that with the mug press sometimes no matter what you might get a seam but with an oven all of that goes away.
      Please dont give up and if you have anymore questions you can ask me or you can reach out to me on IG or facebook for help. The links are in the description.

    I was thinking you never taped the top and bottom
    As I have been having probs doing it that way and yours came out with a nice even bottom

    • @atprints
      @atprints  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for your comment. Yes, I think doing the top and bottom is important. Some persons get lucky with not doing the taping but what I can recommend is to apply a lot of pressure when you are taping the top and bottom and everything should go great.

    HELLO, I'M NEW TO SUBLIMATING TUMBLERS, I'M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HEAT SETTINGS AND MINUTES I NEED TO DO USING A MUG PRESS I HAVE AND A CONVECTION OVER. I MESSED UP 2 TUMBLERS IN BOTH. TUMBLERS NOT CHEAP. WHY ARE TUMBLERS SO HIGH?

    • @atprints
      @atprints  Před 2 lety +2

      Hey Thanks for your question and welcome to sublimating tumblers. There are two ways you can sublimate your tumblers. Firstly you have the Mug press which you asked about setting. FOr the mug press you can use 365 F for 70 seconds. Remember when those 70 seconds are completed you need to turn the tumbler so the other side can be sublimated.
      If you are using an convection oven you can use between 450F and 400 F. I personally use 480F for 5 minutes. You can watch this video which explains how to use the convection oven and settings when sublimating 👉 czcams.com/video/_bAvTbA3RKg/video.html
      In relation to tumblers been expensive, I believe there are in high demand but it also depends on where you get them from. If you need some you can reply to this comment and i will provide you with a link where you can get some.
      I hope this helps.

    • @atprints
      @atprints  Před rokem +1

      HI, I am sorry but once you sublimate onto the item you can not change or redo the wording unless you strip the entire tumbler by sanding, repainting, and coating it with polygloss, then you can sublimate it. If you are interested in that method, it's a process but it works. I have a video on my channel that can help. czcams.com/video/NlaVpag3qIA/video.html

      @@tonycarrington6994 Thanks for your comment. I always mirror my image. Remember you have act least two ways to mirror you design. You can do it in your program or you can select the option on your printer so that it always mirrors the image for you.

    What is the brand of the tumbler heat press? How much does it cost

    • @atprints
      @atprints  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for your question and sorry for the late response. There are different prices ranging between $349.95 up to $549.95. Please see the link where you can choose which one you like 👉shrsl.com/3k8w4. The name of this press is the HPN Signature Series 7-in-1 Automated Sublimation Mug and Tumbler Press.
      If you ask me which one to choose I would advised the 7 in 1 because it comes with all the attachments
