- Hello hello! It's almost Chinese New Year! So here's a little compatibility chart with the 12 Chinese zodiac signs. I'll have a chart with more information on each sign for you later this week.
Usually I do chart videos in soft spoken, but I decided to mix things up this time and whisper. Which do you prefer?

2020 is Metal Rat
2021 is Metal Ox
2022 is Water Tiger
2023 is Water Rabbit
2024 is Wood Dragon
2025 is Wood Snake
2026 is Fire Horse
2027 is Fire Sheep/Goat
2028 is Earth Monkey
2029 is Earth Rooster
2030 is Metal Dog
2031 is Metal Pig
Basically, if the year ends in
0 or 1, Metal
2 or 3, Water
4 or 5, Wood
6 or 7, Fire
8 or 9, Earth
There is also a Yin and Yang aspect. Even years are Yang. Odd years are Yin. That's why elements cover two years; one is Yang and one is Yin. 2020 will be Yang Metal. 2021 will be Yin Metal.
There is also another layer, dependent on the time you are born. Everyone is familiar with the outer animal (the year you are born), but there is also an inner animal (dependent on the month you are born, similar to Western zodiac) and secret animal (dependent on time of day you are born).
There's more to it, but I think I've written enough for now. 😅

its interesting I was born in Jan 1996 so that would make me a Fire rat which is cool but I also find it interesting that the element that I'm drawn to is water and it has always been that way. would that be because of my inner animal? I don't know fun all the same
@@helsalightstone1344 You're actually a Wood Pig! The Lunar New Year (used for the zodiac signs) was February 18th, 1996, so you fall into the 1995 zodiac. :)
Not surprised that rat and ox are good together, ox did indirectly helped the rat to the finish line (though rat stole ox's spot by jumping in front) which reminds me, you could maybe do a story telling about how the Chinese Zodiacs got to become a Zodiac, could be interesting! For example, cat didn't make it as a Zodiac because rat didn't wake her up even though she told him to.

i just read a comment from someone that said they always thought they were certain animal but since chinese new years is after it changes for some people and i was like “omg chinese new years is after my bday” so i went to look it up and turns out i’m a dragon and not a snake like i thought, thing is, i got a big ass dragon tattoo a couple of months ago without it having a specific meaning, it ended up having a huge meaning for different reason and now i’m like flipping my shit tbh and i feel like it has like sooo much more meaning than i would’ve ever thought

I thought I was a pig for the longest time but I found out in my birth year I was born just before the Chinese New year while some years it's after. So I'm actually a dog.
I didn’t know what I was (my family doesn’t keep up with it), only that my birth year is ox. As an engagement gift, my MIL gave me and my (now) Husband two little ceramic dishes for rat and ox. I was born two weeks before the new year, so I’m a rat. We’re apparently a best match :)

Not sure if you knew this, but if you draw a line from the top left of your chart down to the bottom right, both triangular sides are a perfect mirror of each other.

I usually can’t stand ASMR videos with people talking/whispering but this one was actually really nice. I think it might be because you didn’t go out of your way to make a bunch of wet lip sounds. Just a nice person whispering normally.
