I truly hope the animation/coloring developers see these comments. They and everyone involved with this game deserve to know just how amazing and wonderful of a job they did on this. The way everything looks, to the details, to the color schemes and to the gameplay/story. It honestly blows me away and makes me happy that you all took so much time to make this what it is today. It’s so appreciated, especially in today’s day in age of gaming. ❤️

Just downloaded and had a 4 hour session. Sun is coming up. Man, these are the kind of games nintendo need to pay attention too. This is what I felt playing SNES. this is gorgeous. Can’t wait to unfold the rest of this game. ♥️

@@indrav778 prob late to answer but the character variety is huge Ik there is over 100 and many have their own mini stories that play out in each chapter making you truly feel immersed in the world

3 hours on it and im freaking love everything about this game. Beautiful art style,colourful world,funny and best dialogue,dozens of nice npc characters and very old school cultures. Bravo developer. 10/10

Buy this game. Every single aspect is so thought out, everything feels intentional and the developers’ passion for video games shines through so much. Pacing is great, music and visuals are insane. Only 5 hours in but so far it’s at least a 9/10 experience for me
I finished the game and can thoroughly recommend it! The art is so beautiful and consistent throughout the chapters. You grow fond of the characters and your interactions with them the most. Its battle elements are pretty simple and there's nothing that stumped me too hard. There's puzzles too! It's actually a pretty long game in my opinion so don't worry too much about the price haha.
I’ve played this game 3 times and every time it gets better. It sends a great vibe through and the art style is really cool. The story is awesome and is a game for everyone! 100/100 5 Stars!!!
This is one of the best games I've played so far and one of the games that I don't regret that I've pre order it. I highly recommend this game to everyone who wants to have so much more than they paid. I hope we will see a sequel to it and many more games from this epic team of devs. Congratulations guys !

Every so often I find I game that I truly fall in love with, and I mean that literally. Celeste, Hollow Knight, and Firewatch to name a few. I have a strong feeling that Eastward is gonna end up on that list.
Imagine if Pixpil gets hired to remake Mother 3 with this artstyle. I think we'd all die from sheer excitement!!

This is one of the few games in recent memory where I'm absolutely desperate for a sequel. Eastward is just perfect in every way, the world, story, characters, and just feeling of it all is unlike anything I've played in decades. Do yourself a favor and play this game

About 2.5 hrs into the game and it is WONDERFUL! Smooth mechanics and really really fun. The story is slowly unfolding for me where I left off and I am SO EXCITED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!! Beautiful game and just such a cool world.
What a beautiful game. Hard to believe this isn't a high-budget Ghibli movie or something. So happy to see all these Indie developers on the Switch!

WE NEED EASTWARD 2 ASAP!!! I never had so many goose bumps of joy and excitement for a long time! This game is beautifully crafted and that soundtrack... freaking amazing!! I strongly but STRONGLY recommend this game to everyone that loves the classic Zelda and Earthbound games!!

I found out about this game only a few days ago so luckily for me I didn't have to wait to play it. I heard someone describe it as Zelda-ish and immediately I was sold

Great game, have been playing for 3 hours... slow start but gives earthbound / hyperlight drifter vibes. Soaking in the atmosphere is just great!

I mean, when I saw the trailer I thought, if that's the atmosphere they created it's going to be one of the best game I've ever played. And boy was I in for a ride. Thank all of you that worked that masterpiece in Pixpil studios. You made me laugh, tear up, wonder.

currently playing Eastward for the second time, and its the best game ive ever played. don't let the quirky fun look of the game fool you, though- it has some very heartbreaking moments. i didn't expect to get as attatched to the characters and story as much as i did, and just seeing something as simple as the intro i never skip every time i open the game brings me SO much happiness. Eastward is genuienly such a unique experience and its really helped me in a lot of aspects in life. planning to get a tattoo based off of it since it has so much great quotes and art

I haven't had an experience like playing this game in a very long time. I enjoyed every second of my 20-hour first play through. I'd recommend this game to anyone looking for an incredible story and cast of characters in a heartbeat.
