I've already put 4-5 hours into this game, it's quite addictive. Even though it has big horror elements, playing the game is rather relaxing and sedative.

Whats the difference between big horror elements and just horror elements? Like when horror is used on a grand scale and not subtle or do you mean the horror elements are the main chunk and the relaxing segments are in between 🤔
@@kylemclaren617 big horror elements as in the story and gameplay are defined (even somewhat the artstyle) by this genre even though it has multiple ones.
Sedative? English is not my native language, but I think you mean "relaxing" or "calming"?

Love the art style
I'm also about 4-5 hours in and find it super interesting, very relaxing, and quite engaging - good dialogue and the game always keeps you guessing. Glad I made the investment!

@@DeepOne90 Yeah I kid, but it was also a throwback to the two Cthulhu mystery horror games, neither of which had a single black character(pretty sure). Not that I'm one of those who give a damn, I just find it a hilarious coincidence considering Lovercraft's background and the diversity quota everyone is obliged to fill these days.

Is there any exploration on land or is it just the sea? Looks a great game
You can dock at different areas, but can't get off the boat, its just menus for upgrades, quests and talking to the npcs. All the gameplay is at sea.

I think it's got ambiguous story telling where you put the pieces together to what's happening based on what you see in the environment.

Just a heads up: I wouldn’t recommend buying this game on the switch. I tried it and it had some serious lagging issues. However I also tried the PS5 version and that one works great.
I am playing Switch version and honestly not much lag in most places. I would say 95% of game's areas are fine. Only big difference is that Switch version runs at 30 fps vs 60 fps for other consoles and PC.

Does this game have jump scares? I love horror atmosphere but I've developed heart problems, and jump scares + heart problems are a bad combination.

The _Alien Breed_ series was terrifying back in the Amiga days, and one of Team 17's best games that isn't _Worms._ Nice to see them back in form.

Ok so I have an idea. You should add rayman as a character in the next smash game. His forward smash could be him winding up his fist and swinging it. But I would want his design to be similar to rayman legends just because it would look the best

These games should not be made of its type. Begin with nothing and end with nothing. Begin a continuum until the end of the game is finished by completion. I see that the start is not much of anything and gain much so, just to finish the remainder and as soon as it happens. The user or player will not have much left to play with. Needs to be like Animal Crossing but with many varieties of variables to work with in gaming. But will companies do such a thing to their games? To make it last more than a year of playtime. Would not need to make so many games on a console but heck to it. Could make as many to be like how I like them to be. To be like Animal Crossing but better by the time the next generation comes.
