It's always fun trying a different DAW - I tried Cubase a while ago and found it incredibly confusing and unintuitive. 😄 When I stopped expecting it to work like the programs I was used to it became much clearer! Cakewalk will do all the things you were trying to do, like selecting multiple tracks etc, and with a little familiarity the workflow becomes fast and enjoyable. I use three DAWs and Sonar (the paid for version of Cakewalk) is by far my favourite. Cakewalk does about 95% of what Sonar gives me for free, so well worth spending a bit more time with.
That's definitely true! The point of this series is that I've tried a bunch of DAWs already and find trying to learn the ropes of new ones really fun! I appreciate the advice. I still have Bitwig, Studio One, Pro Tools, and Waveform to try. Thank you for watching!!
