This is Super Awesome! Thanks. One thing I did to my truck was add a sway bar, to the rear of the Front of my truck! What? Yes, the Rear, to the Front of my truck. like what they have on the newer GM trucks. Does it make a difference??? Keep the front bar, just add a front to the existing setup! Amazing results for Handling! Same with the Rear! 2 Bars, front and Rear! This is NO Joke!

thanks for this video man I did not know that the steering kits that have a straight steering linkage reduce the turning.

Could you do a video on the brace kit with the PPE center link? I’m wanting to go that route but I see it says not for lifted trucks on their website.

Sweet set up bro, big difference from 20” to 22”? or did the smaller side wall make for same size as previous set up?

I have the kryptonite kit and I did notice its a pain to park in tighter areas now. I normally go to swing in and have to back up at least once. But I can do boosted launches and it won't pull left or right. If the truck still towed on a daily basis I wouldn't recommend it but its fine if you just tow every once in a while.

Yeah i know what you mean man. The kryptonite one still is even better than the ppe setup i had. I guess it all depends what you are doin. Im real happy to have nice steering back. It was surprising how bad it really was haha

Akerman steering is what your referring to on the stock steering, basicly one tire will turn just a hair more than the other to cut down on scrub (one wheel is going to have to spin faster than the other)... I ran Kyle's original Crank it up Diesel straight center link on my 04.5". It worked amazing in competition form but suffered badly on the DDing, just as you mentioned. I went back to stock with cognito's pisk kit and sleeves on that truck. My 05' Fully built truck I ran the full Kryptonite front end on it, I figured I lost half the Akerman steering from stock, Still way better than the straight link DDing. I might consider this PPE for the 04.5 though, thanks for the video.
Don't give up on a high HP daily driver, as long as you don't go nuts on the Turbos and Injectors you can make a ton of power and still easily DD it. I tuned the 05' to 860ish whp, 11.51 @ 119 qtr mile times and I wouldn't have hesitated to drive that truck across the country if I needed it to.

I really appreciate the reply man! Thats interesting on the steering like the technical name. I haven’t tried any lauches yet with the new centerlink but i trust it. It is very nice to have a truck that turns normal again. We just gotta add some power now!

Do you use air tools? If you do would love to see a video on your compressor setup and your air tools. Keep up the good vids my friend. 👊

I still have the same setup. I added grease fittings into the leaf spring where they pivot because they were squeakin but other than that no issues

I met a guy once with the same name as you. He had black hair and was a little shorter. But he claimed his family owned a big shop in Jersey somewhere that customized new fire trucks. Cambells Trucking maybe or something like that. Havnt been able to find it online or anywhere else. I know it's a random question but seeing your channel reminded me of him. Maybe someone out there watching has heard of it. He said they did lots of new trucks for nyfd after 9/11. Kinda curious if he was just bs me. Always enjoy your videos though! Thanks!
