    Here's a funny history on how I got this ending when I first completed the game...
    I sneezed when Booster got down, I only heard the hit and Thought ("I'll better hurry up")
    My keyboard tends to press by itself some of the WASD keays, which happened when I got Curly into the Base in the Waterway
    After completing the battle that took me 2 days to finally beat (Not 48 hours in a row I'm not that crazy xd)
    My conservative gamer mind saw the building and thought "I'll mess this up so I better save" so when the door got blocked I thought this was the only way to end the game... and the rest is history.
    As I always do after finishing a game I look up to see if it has endings, my reaction to see which I got... daaaamn

    Please tell me how you got there as soon as I enter the prefab building there is no hole in the ground but I want the good ending please help

    • @DustyCruz
      @DustyCruz  Před 7 lety +22

      You have to do several things before you can open that hole in the wall. Follow these steps.
      *Spoilers ahead so be mindful of this*
      1. Do NOT rescue professor Booster at the bottom of the pit before the fourth Balrog fight. The jump to make it across can be a little tricky, but the key is the little red mark - jump as soon as you're under the red mark.
      2. In the area with the Island's Core, there will be a shimmering light all the way at the end of the area, next to the core. Press down to pick up the tow rope. This must be done *before the fight begins*!
      3. After the battle with the Island's Core, use the tow rope on Curly and take her with you.
      4. In the waterway there is a single room that you see once you enter it. Enter this room and set Curly on the bed.
      5. In that same room, there should be a bookshelf all the way to the left, read the books and take care of Curly. Keep talking to her until it prompts you to take her with you. SERIOUSLY DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE HER WITH YOU.
      6. After the events in the waterway and Egg Corridor, Decline Kazuya's request to go with him and go outside. Directly under Kazuya is a hidden room with a Tiny Family. Talk to them, then leave, I'll explain what to do in a later step.
      7. In that same outer area, there will be a Clock symbol on a block. Directly left of this all the way at the end is a hidden room, press down where you see the lone railing and pick up the timer. YOU NEED THIS TIMER DO NOT FORGET IT.
      8. In the Plantation, you will find Curly all the way to the bottom right of the map, talk to her and the hooded guy, He tells you that she's lost her memory and you have to get a mushroom to restore it. Complete all the tasks in the Plantation until you activate the teleporter at the bottom left of the plantation, past all the fish throwing water at you. Teleport to Mimiga Village and head to the Cemetery.
      9. In the cemetery, look for the tiny man, he's at the bottom floor of the Cemetery. Just keep pressing up until you pick him up, because he's wearing a green suit and blends in to the grass pretty easily. *be sure you talked to his family or you will not be able to pick him up*
      Boost up to the lone room in the Cemetery and talk to the mushroom, I forgot the answers to his questions so keep trying until he eventually gives up the mushroom badge. Leave the room, examine the badge and re-enter the room. You will have to fight the shroom. Once defeated, pick him up, and go back to the plantation.
      10. Once you're back in the Plantation, talk to Curly and give her the mushroom. She will give you the Iron Bond. After you've done this, return to the Tiny Family and return the Tiny Man to his family. Talk to him again and trade your Sword for the Nemesis.(you should have picked this up after the fight with Toroko? Toraka? forgot her name but anyways, you get it from King once he's, well, dead).
      After all this, defeat the mutated core, go inside the shack during the escape from the island. The hole will be there and be ready for the toughest challenge the game will ever throw at you.
      Hope this helps, it's a lot to do I know, but it's a fun ride nonetheless!

    • @shupasopni
      @shupasopni Před 6 lety +15

      You don't need the Nemesis or the timer. The timer is just to keep track of your hell speedruns. If you don't want to speedrun you can go without it. The Nemesis is just another really good weapon. Pick your preference between it and the Blade.
      Also this doesn't matter much but you can get the rope at any point before you drown. You can just run and grab it after beating the core but before your air supply runs out. If you haven't grabbed it and Curly drowned you can't get it anymore though.

    Wow this level is the worst! like it really sucks you can have a save point for the end that level, which it is a shame that you have no choice to fight that

      If you have enough health & rockets left, jump in his eye & let (running) hell break loose by spamming the rocket launcher.

    • @SniperOnSunday
      @SniperOnSunday Před 3 měsíci +1

      Every Hell speedrun I've seen (aside from no-hit speedruns) uses the same strategy for phase 4.
      You'll need to have the blade at level two, as well as at least 23 health remaining when the transition between phases 3 and 4 begins. When the spikes start to rise from the ground, take 2 damage from one of them, use the I-frames to go through the spinning eyes, and stand on Ballos, next to but facing away from his eye. Immediately start spamming blade, which, due to its odd hitbox, hits behind you. This, combined with the Nemesis wielded by Curly, should deal enough damage to kill Ballos before he can deal more than 20 contact damage.
