I really have a deep respect for this lady's honesty and transparency about her struggles with depression and anxiety. Too many times we are taught in our families and by society to pretend and put on a facade about how we really feel.

You have to be truthful to yourself, that you are in depression. In the Christian fold, it is seen as unfaithfulness (losing your faith in God). What a shame!!!
You are seen as not being spiritual or becoming lukewarm or being possessed by demon or even suffering from the reward of secret sins.
Many people have lost their lives because of the shame of owing up to being depressed. It ought not to be so. Please if you are going through depression seek help. Be it medical, spiritual (be well guided please). The best way is being truthful to yourself to admit it ( then you have insight). Depression is a neurosis. You may need a clinical psychologist ( I am one)
She went to God, let us applaud that before casting aspersions.
I have read hundreds of testimonies of people who were about taking their lives before they either heard the gospel being preached by someone or they heard gospel music. The power of these duo are indescribable. Going to the hospital helps a great deal but soulish diseases are mostly solved spiritually then managed medically.
