- On this week’s episode of Legends, Steven Jackson highlights a player who took a role that was becoming an afterthought in the NFL, the power fullback, and turned it into an essential part of his team.
Mike Alstott was a culture changer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and whenever they needed 6 from the 1, they turned to the A-Train, riding him all the way to a Super Bowl championship. Not bad for a guy who set out with a dream simply to play for his local high school team. - Sport
Alstott was one of them players that everybody loved watching. Always trucking and dragging DB's lol
This was great. Well done to you.
Legend talks about another Legend.. this bout to be my new favorite channel
Hell yeah! Mr. Jackson is a stud!
Great video! +1 sub
I grew up in Tampa, lived fairly close to Mike, meet him a few times, stand up guy. Mike's first touchdown really did change the culture. For so many years, locals didn't talk about Bucs cuz there was nothing to get excited about.
His first TD, everyone sat up in their chairs and took notice of a guy giving it his all, and some, for our lousy team... Instantly my favorite player.
I'm so glad we got Chuck to call the plays and get the offense humming enough to win that Ring for Mike and the Stifling Defense that ground it out for so many years.
“Quickly became a problem.”

But yet he’s still not in the hall of fame
