  • A national dialogue that aims to end Cameroon’s long-running political crisis has begun.
Hundreds of delegates are attending the event in the capital, Yaounde.
But there are doubts over how successful it will be as many of the key rebel leaders are have refused to participate.
Al Jazeera's Ahmed Idris reports from the conference.

Camaroon good start... Federalism or Confederation ends major problems continuing for decades, simply divide two states with own federal regions. people demand power participation, so Power-sharing is the solution.

The war is not about language.
Its about opression, 2nd class treatment and so many other reasons.
If you did a little research on the issue you wont make such comments.
The people are sick and tired of a depreciated and corrupt filled country.

Al Jazeera thank you for going down to my country to get this images Hope you will report what is happening in your own country Qatar. The living conditions of workers and most of all companies not paying their wages for months and later deport them to their various countries and the Government is doing nothing about the situation. I have been a victim of that..

They are prisoners of consciousness languishing in jails, you very mute about that, , pls church and such a sloppy human angle feature.
