El mirlo es un ave que habita principalmente en Europa, Asia y África del Norte. Una característica es que los pollitos de esta especie abandonan el nido muy temprano, inclusive antes de saber volar salen fuera del nido y acaban por hacerse independientes y se marchan por su propia iniciativa.
Otra característica es su melodioso canto, el cual se puede apreciar en la versión original que realizaron The Beatles.
