How many degrees is the side bending heater, msm, to bend the sides on the sound box?

we have an old iron which doesn't show the temperature, but the temperature is good when a drop of water dropped on the iron immediately (but calmly)starts to boil as you can quickly see 0:51 but then again if water evaporates too agressively iron is too hot, hope this helps

Can we use hide glue for building the fret board base joint to the resonance body ?

I’m pretty sure you can use hide glue for the whole instrument, although I’m not hide glue expert.
