  • One of my viewers sent me a question about frequent challenges with GC's and the best way to approach these challenges. In this video we gather 4 different perspectives on how to go about this and communicate and work with general contractors as subcontractors.
    Who am I?
I am the owner and founder of Well Works.
    www.livingwellworks.org
Well Works was built to equip individuals within the construction industry with the "essential skills" (i.e., soft skills/ people skills, trust, respect, motivation, and communication) necessary to build successful people, projects, and teams.
The Well Works Leadership Development Program (WWLDP) is the current main program offering and is built to equip front-line construction leaders with tools and information to efficiently and effectively lead our teams within our fast-paced, high-stress industry. This mobile-based, micro-learning program is specifically built using first-hand construction experience to work with our hectic schedules (not against them) by providing actionable resources relevant to everyday construction challenges without ever having to leave the job site. Since it is mobile, it is available nationwide

This was very good information. Mostly common sense, but that is getting rare. I like the different voices to address coordination. Keep it up.

Could you please suggest some books for Project Management? Also, is there any book that summarizes the whole construction work?

Faijal, Unfortunately I do not personally know of any books that comprehensively cover project management for construction. I do know of someone who creates some great online courses for this type of information though. It is construction-education.com/courses/
Anyone else have any books that would be a good source of info?
