How to Take Nepeta (Catmint) Cuttings | Propagating Nepeta Plants | Hardy Perennial Cuttings

In this video we are taking cuttings from our Nepeta plants and potting on some that were taken earlier in the Spring. This process is an easy way to make more plants for free.
Nepeta is a great hardy perennial that likes a sunny position and makes a great substitute for lavender, growing in positions that lavender often fails.

We're so pleased with them Wendy as I'm planning to plant some at my mum's grave. There're tough enough to cope with neglect, and hopefully there's not many cats in the cemetery! We've been keeping ourselves busy in between the showers potting on seedlings and also editing. Can't believe it's almost June! Where has May gone? Take care Wendy xxx

Your nepeta looks very lanky, if you chop it by half it should get bushier
