New Temperature Blend Door Actuator from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1AHC...
The temperature blend door actuator is the electric motor that is responsible for physically opening and closing the blend doors in your vehicle's HVAC system. If the actuator isn't working, then you won't be able to control the temperature of the air coming out of the vents! This video shows you how to install a new blend door actuator on your 2006-2010 Ford Explorer.

Great video! I have seen others that remove the center console and a bunch of other unnecessary components. I just did this repair to my wife’s 2007 Eddie Bauer Explorer and there is no more clicking noise and the heat works again! Thank you so much for this video!

I’m glad I came across this video it looks much easier than another one that I viewed. The other video has you take out the entire console. Thanks for the information.

If the plastic pin doesn’t fit immediately, one thing I found that works is plugging the actuator in but not installing it and turning the key to the on position so you can turn the temperature gauge, in turn, spinning the pin

If at first it doesn't come off, check for a 3rd bolt on the side facing the rear of the car. Thanks for the video.

This is great but how are you supposed to get to the passenger side one for a dual control system? This video is very helpful, though. Thanks!

Does this fix the cold air? Because right now it’s just blowing hot air and I was told to replace this.

There's a 3rd bolt on my 2006. You have to take a little more out to get to it.

The 2 screws that are removed at the 1:15 mark, are completely unnecessary to remove.
