As an Illari main, I love this change! My main issue I always had to deal with was managing the balance between healing and dps due to the primary cooldown so this is amazing!!
(Wastes ult to recharge heals, Mauga dies) "These are the plays you can make !"
With time and practice, I hope to one day make plays like this… 🙏
Better safe than sorry... Illari ult doesn't get a lot of value anyways
@@anonymall illari ult is goated, obviously any other support except mercy has better ults, but thats not the point, the point is that is basically an instakill on any squishie, its 1000 times better than any tank or dps ult,and most importantly is one of the few ults that provides dmg and not healing, and a lot of times you need that and not a trascendence or a lucio beat to win games
@@germanluque9756 Captive Sun is just very easily counterable. The projectile is easy to block, eat, or deflect; the effect itself can be cleansed; squishy people can take cover; and if they get more than 10 healing while racking up that 90 priming damage, the explosion won't finish them off.
Also, Valk is a very strong Tempo ult. I would almost rather have Valk in a scrappy 3v3 fight scenario than Captive Sun, as it is more reliably going to be able to stabilize what's left of your team, and then go aggressive with mass Dmg Boost or Pistol yourself. 15 seconds is an eternity in OW.
The whole time no one is pushing cart so zero progress was made either lmao
It's the change I've been hoping for the entire time. I love bap's rhythm of shoot-heal-shoot and it feels like such a nice flow to his kit, I liked illari, I thought her kit was neat but it always felt like a worse bap
The only other change to her I'd make is reverse the projectile size to it's original larger size, but lower her damage to balance it. But that's because I'm bad at aiming, and it felt like that was a nerf to lower ranks only when they changed it
i think this change makes her much better at peeling. Before when you peel for someone you either left clicking the enemy to death or right clicking your teammate, now you can do both
i still think its so sad how kiriko can just cleanse the ult
I like the changes, but the bug that came with it made me laugh way to hard
It would be nice if she could regenerate chunks of the heal meter when hitting an enemy, and maybe her ult can give her an infinite healing meter for the duration if you right click or it makes your shot always fully charged and with infite ammo too as u fly. That aoe explosion gets cleaned off so easily

She feels so much better now, captive sun was close to useless before because of how easy it was to deny. The primary fire changes also feel really good
Yea i was thinking her play style can be more like Bap now: play close to your team and hold shoot and heal rhythm
The 120 dmg no fall-off explosion would be a bit silly if there weren't a ton of ways to deal with her ult already and the explosion weren't tiny relative to the dmg it deals

it feels like her skill ceiling was raised just a little bit, even if her skill floor is the same.
Lmao before even seeing this video, I played one game as illari and got people complaining about how op she is now that she's buffed. I was like 'bruh it was literally just a quality of life change'. Glad to see ml agrees ahaha
I need to try this hero more often. I never used to play Ana because she requires so much skill and aim and now my Ana is pretty decent?
Maybe I can dream that someday I’ll be able to play this year with any kind of usefulness lol😂❤
Yeah..... I think the play is to still try and detonate the sun-struck enemies rather than turn around and heal the teammates who are already 100% HP.

I have the night illari skin that ml7 has as well as the golden gun but why does his POV look SO MUCH BETTER than mine? It just looks clean af when I use exactly what he does
Might be your resolution settings tbh - better quality will def make skins look better

She still need some buff on her right click.. either make it a bit of AoE, or longer, or have some small auto target (like moira) and to be able to last 3.5 seconds instead of 3. And make it 100hps for compensation. Other changes i would like would be her Pylon to have 14 sec cd instead of 15 or to have 125hp or just have smaller hitbox because it breaks SO easily. And lastly the godsend change would be to make her weapon hitbox 0.75 from 0.5. But maybe all these would make her OP again.

I very much dislike the Orisa buff. It’ll be Ram or Orisa every match.

i think kirikos ult should half cleanse ult effects. like she can only reduce the detonation damage from captive sun by half or the cleanse reduces the anti time by half from jq's rampage or whatever its called
Main problem is invincibility and the healing you get. Just remove invincibility and nerf healing you get from it and reduce cd time and suzu would feel way better to play against and if you’re a tank it will feel better to play with

Fun Illari gameplay, but unfortunate that the tank matchup devolves into an Orisa v Orisa only 2 minutes in… would rather watch paint dry than watch that. Not much better than the Mauga meta.
Personally I don't like these changes, because they encourage a Baptiste-esc playstyle of shoot-heal, which I personally don't enjoy that much, while I loved her old playstyle of taking an off angle on a hard flank. I don't say, that you can't play the old style , but shifting her strength in the bap playstyle renders the old playstyle obsolete.
not the buff she needs her pylon id very it or miss most plats get their pylons destroyed fast because of bad positioning
It's not just "QOL" she can pump out more heals full stop but it requires "some more" skill, not too much.

You are rusty when my Illari better 👀 I do love using her Ult to tank break and worked wonderfully with Mauga cage fight and it great to slow people down for Dva bomb and Dead Eye 😂 and Terra Surge as well junker queen ult and slow down with her bleed is great for sun going boom 💥

Fr, he let the fights go way longer and closer on some of those rounds cuz he didn't heal his orisa. Then orisa dies and they start getting steam rolled, making the match closer than what it should of been.
