    As a support main who also plays hitscan dps her damage felt more natural for me than other damage heavy supports. Due to her charge time you can bob in and out of cover dealing big damage relatively easily (aim dependant obviously)

    Ashe,widow, tracer low gm player here. Yea, I have played her a bit already. She's ALOT more fun than any dps atm in my opinion. The amount of value per-second if you utilise her properly is astonishing. The dmg is effortless and so is the healing. I'd say 1v1s are tricky against tracer, soujorn and soldier a little. Kiriko is kinda scary too. Bit usually they run for the moment soon as I headshot them down to low health. If they dont. I jump into them (if they're alone) and melee them. Very fun hero.

    Another thing with Illari’s ultimate. If you directly impact an enemy with the initial projectile it deals another 50 dmg to them dealing 100 impact damage instead of 50 to that specific target. Really good for getting instant picks.

    90 Damage to make enemies explode after Captive Sun.
    So a charged headshot will do it, or a pair of bodyshots (charged and uncharged) also do it.
    Splash plus explosion (50+120) is 170, plus 90 to proc explode nets you 260.
    You can 2 tap Junkrat's steel trap or RIP-Tire with charged+uncharged shots.

    Im a pretty aggressive support player so I enjoy playing dps Lucio, Illari, and sometimes Ana when I see the team struggling with kills and I think her anti could really help (it's worked everytime and Changed the tide of the game with anas anti. With Lucio of course being an aoh, I don't usually get much healing but I will get more or similar kills with the DPS, with illari if you place your healing beacon well that thing won't come down for a good few minutes and still be in a good spot for your team, and I will as illari consistently have atleast 4-6k more healing done than my tm8 support and have 20+ more kills than them.
    She's a great balance, and I sadly do see her getting nerfed in the future because of this, but I would recommend any dps who goes support to try her, and you can be the good support that the dps needs or never gets, for the tanks that have congratulated or paid compliments to my performance after a loss or win, or even the enemy team will win and still pay tribute to my performance because I will have 1.5x the amount of healing, half the amount of deaths, and 20 mor kills.
    Her ult is also very crucial To land, I got my 1st 5k about a week ago and that was creaaamy stuff

    On thing that would be more balanced for the Pilon (to easy and op in my opinion) would be that the healt of the Pilon, is the health that it ca provide to team mates
    So you would place you Pilon and it would heal as it does, but at the expense of a bit of is health everytime. You could also be able to heal the pilon to make it survive longer
    It would make he more active and skillfull you would have to juggle between doing damage and keeping your Pilon up for the hole team of beaming a single team mate for big heal Instantly. I would also make her beam charge a bit slower since her Pilon is already a geat heal without any player investment at the moment

    • @dylanperry3735
      @dylanperry3735 Před 10 měsíci

      Naw that’d just add way more micro management to her kit. Especially because they’d have to change the way it works entirely. If her Pylon starts taking damage she can’t reapply the Pylon and if it gets destroyed it’s on a 12 second cooldown. The whole balance of the Pylon is the fact that you can push in and destroy it before she places another one. Her Pylon is in no way OP and can easily be countered by a widow/ash/echo/sombra(or anyone smart enough to see the healing beam shoot to her teammates). Not to mention you’d then have to waste resource on healing her Pylon when you have a limited amount. So what would happen is no one would play Illari because she has to heal 4 people plus a Pylon and would get screamed at 8/10 out of time for not healing the people her Pylon can’t cover. And last but not least if I was playing Mercy and had to keep fighting my staff to not heal the full health Pylon and heal my tank with 10% health I’d start screaming at Illari with everyone else.

    @CrazedKitsune Před 10 měsíci

    You don't have to manually destroy the pylon to place a new one, once it's off cooldown you can just throw a new one, the exact same as Torb turret.

    • @MetroOW
      @MetroOW  Před 10 měsíci

      Yes, the reason I still recommend making it a habit to break the old pylon first is because there will be moments where u wanna move from point A to B and you want to make sure u can place the new pylon right away.
      If you leave the old pylon up in those situations and they get hit for 1 dmg by anyone, you will not be able to place the new one.

    • @CrazedKitsune
      @CrazedKitsune Před 10 měsíci

      @@MetroOW Fair enough, I've sometimes moved the pylon mid-fight because the fight itself moves out of range of it, if you manually destroy the pylon in that situation it is briefly locked out of being placed. I do destroy it manually during Flashpoint matches when moving to new points just to be sure I can place it at our destination. I just find it's not always wise to manually destroy it.

    • @MetroOW
      @MetroOW  Před 10 měsíci +1

  • @juliusdoylephd6472

    I disagree about pylon placement. I think that the reason she's a sun goddess, is because you're supposed to place the pylon as high as possible (and angled defensively) because the fight is down below and people seldom pay attention to up high. Also, the pylon heals based on horizontal distance, not vertical....treat the pylon like the sun....

    • @MetroOW
      @MetroOW  Před 10 měsíci

      While pylon has a vey big radius rn (15m), it does not help to place it too high. Yes, it can catch people by surprise but once people figure out the position of it, it's as easy to hit as any other pylon while you are giving up range (meaning u will be less likely to have most or all of ur team in the pylon range).

    • @juliusdoylephd6472
      @juliusdoylephd6472 Před 10 měsíci

      @@MetroOW I respectfully disagree. Obviously, placement must be strategic, which doesn't always mean placing high, but it also doesn't mean that always placing it lower is the best idea either. I've been winning a lot of games by simply placing the pylon in a defensive position but high above, especially at chokepoints or bottlenecks. This is because the fight is concentrated below, making it difficult to target the pylon that requires a player to cross enemy lines, look way up, aim, fire, and destroy. By the time they even manage, they've already been depleted. Flanks and peelers have a better chance, but then it puts them in a position where they're generally isolated, and the larger fight is missing a key team member. I'll be interested to see how strategies evolve around her, but so far, this has absolutely been a clutch strategy for me that has been consistently working out.
