- It's been more a year since the original version of this song came out. I can say that on one hand my life has progressed for the better as i am finally managing to pursue music like how i want to, or at least am a lot close to that dream; while i also managed to know really amazing people around the net. I also am managing to grow as a person, becoming more mature and less impulsive than before; being significantly less reckless and more patient over what to do and how to act in many situations. I guess that comes down to the fact that I'm closer to eventually being 25 i guess.
On the other hand my life is still really stuck, I'm still the same mess as before who can't even take care of herself as i still struggle with depression, dysphoria along with living in a increasingly hostile world in general (i am from Argentina and shit's getting so awful lately :c). I feel like i haven't really progressed much, that my life is still under this feeling of despair and neverending downfall no matter what...
I feel like this version of this song reflects these thoughts of mine of maturity, my life changing but also kinda not at the same time and also still being stuck in a depressive pit even after all the positive stuff.
As you could tell, I'm not feeling that happy or jolly for making a Christmas thing today. Or else i could have done a cover of Jose Feliciano's Feliz Navidad, the only actually good Christmas song imo.
