30 deaths is a little too long for me to watch, but if Fitz from Agents of SHIELD in season 5 didn’t make it on there…I would be truly shocked. I know the show gets overlooked by a lot of people, but I sobbed so hard when he died in the season 5 finale. We hadn’t lost a major character since season 2 and we didn’t expect the show to kill off one of the original members. And it was in the most tragic way possible…he was helping others escape and he got impaled by falling debris from a collapsed ceiling. If they hadn’t brought past Fitz back in s6, my heart would’ve been too broken to come back and finish the show!! Someone can tell me what the death is ranked at if it did make the list.
Glenn's death in TWD will remain the most awful and unforgettable death, IMO. And no matter how hard the writers tried to revamp Negan's character - nope! Never forgave him, and I wished for vengeance until the very end.
Glenn Rhee, Lori Grimes And Herschel (Walking Dead), Alvin Olinsky (Chicago P.D.), Dr. Lucy Knight And Dr. Marc Greene (ER), J.T. Yorke (Degrassi) And Det. Eddie Torres (New York Undercover).
The death of Dt Torres in New York Undercover, James from Good Times and Stephanie Holden in Baywatch.
Villanelle didn't deserve that ending , her character was awesome , Killing Eve gets worse as the series goes on , season 1 and season 2 were awesome , season 3 was kind of okay , not as good as the previous but okay , season 4 was just a mess and awful , but Jodie Comer indeed is amazing playing this character anyway
Mark Greene’s death was so gut wrenching because we knew it was coming and we watched him suffer. Tears of pain and relief were shed for Dr. Greene. Then the letter that the staff reads is equally harrowing as we and them must go on without him. 😢
Dr.Mark Greene was my favorite character on "ER", and when he died, I bawled. Even now, I'm crying over that episode😭. I still associate that version of " Over the Rainbow " with his passing.
Fun fact: the creator of the book Codename Villanelle, Luke Jennings, like the fans, completely hated what they did with the character Villanelle at the end of the series, he said that in the books the ending is different and much better (I won't give spoilers because I do too I haven't read it and I will read it one day), the actress Jodie Comer, who plays Villanelle, didn't like it very much either, she said that for her Villanelle swam out of the river and lives.
I hated season 3 of that show so much I still haven’t seen the final season
@@t221000 well...if you didn't like season 3 then you shouldn't watch season 4 , just don't , it's even worse than season 3 and can't even be compated to season 1 and 2 , season 4 seems like a totally different series just with the same cast, Killing Eve...the real Killing Eve is season 1 and 2
I still have no idea what Carolyn's actual role that last season was. Who was she ACTUALLY working for?
I felt like season 3 and 4 was robbed of a good character just because production of the show wanted to kill her off which is BS.
When you have the creator of the book saying that this was messed up that means you have failed at a TV show that was going well thanks.
The reveal of Gus' face on Breaking Bad was an epic moment in an epic TV series. Glen's death in The Walking Dead was my jump the shark moment in that show. Stellar writing turned to unnecessary deaths just for shock value. And Henry Blake's death on MASH was all anyone could talk about at school (and around the watercooler, I imagine).
I agree with this 100%. Glen was most certainly their jump the shark moment
Aside many of the ''Supernatural'' deaths, I also like to mention Hershel's horrific death on the ''Walking Dead''. It really left me cringe and bawl within in so many ways.
George’s death on Grey’s was way more shocking, because they set up his leaving the show in a different way. Also, Ellen Pompeo’s acting when she figures it out was incredible. Derek was shocking, but she knew he was leaving and knew once he was hit that was how he was leaving the show.
George's death was totally unnecessary. He left, the character quit to join the army. They could've left it at that and that leaves the door open for him to come back.
That was so hard for me. Crying is not my thing. But that brought on a very ugly cry.
How could you forget Sweets from "Bones"?
😭
I still bawl when I watch that episode.
Oh yeah 😢😢😢
I still haven't gotten over Villanelle's death, I watched the series and fell in love with her (as all the fans did ), unfortunately as the series progressed it got worse, I believe that the change of writers per season directly influenced, Killing Eve for me it was a waste of potential, it could have been much better than it was, seasons 1 and 2 prove that
I agree with you 100%
4:30 - And to this day I take an extra 1.5 seconds to make sure the elevator is there before I step into it.
EDIT: 4:50 - EXACTLY!
When it comes to Marshall's dad on How I Met Your Mother, the thing that lists like these don't mention is that there is a countdown. It's subtle, but once you know it's there IT'S THERE.
Kutner's death on House - House always needed to know WHY. But, in that case, although he tried over and over to figure out why, there was never answer. And, as sad as that is, it's LIFE. Sometimes when people commit suicide there is no warning. There just isn't. A lot of times, in hindsight, there is, but sometimes....there just is no answer.
Kutners death was hard but Wilson losing Amber crushed me.
Mark Greene's passing in ER just about did me in. He was the first character we saw in the show and one of the last of the original cast left at the time Anthony Edwards bid farewell to his scrubs and moved on.
Another one that I thought was a bit of a shock was Warrick Brown on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He was shot in the Season 8 finale and we didn't know if he lived or died until the Season 9 premiere. Fans knew the actor was on the way out but we were hoping he'd be fired, or unable to work due to permanent damage from his wounds. Seeing him pass away in Grissom's arms made me cry ugly tears. It wasn't just a shock, it was a horrible way for him to go.
Nothing, NOTHING, will ever shock me as much as Kate dying in NCIS. That one was horrible and really got to me. So sudden.
Well, that's what happens when you threaten the producers and say "this show won't survive without me!" 🤣😂🤣😂 Okay, dearie, challenge accepted.
yeah, was wondering if that be in this list.
With ER, I will always cry to this very day when his coworkers read the fax from Corday about his passing. Just really hits deep same with Lucy's. Dr. Greene's passing was the last good send off, the subsequent ones: helicopter (Romano, the entire helicopter saga is an issue of its own), explosions (Gallant in the army, Pratt in an ambulance bomb) felt so tacky.
Lucy's passing just about did me in. It was so unexpected, so brutal and she lingered for a while after the stabbing.
Honorable mention, Hotchner's wife Hailey was a shocking and tragic TV death
and also Robin Hood and Neal Cassidy/Baelfire in OUAT
Prue Halliwell in Charmed
Bobby and Crowley in Supernatural
Laurel Lance in Arrow
@@inukaiser Spoiler Alert but Gorge Sr in YS
@@WesLuvsBtr WE ALWAYS KNEW HE WOULD DIE! IT SAID SO IN BIG BANG
Ed Tucker in Law & Order SVU, he might have been a real hard ass but he was a good person deep down. Never thought he'd go out by suicide
If I had to pick I'd say Miss wolowitz.(Carol anne susie) she was beautiful woman. Her character may not have been seen, Howard may yelled at her but she loved her son, his friends like a mother does. Raise a cup of milk to Miss W.
Their farewell to her was beautifully poetic. A wonderful send-off to Carol Ann Susi
Yes! I am surprised they left her out along with John Ritters character in 8 Simple Rules
@@WaiferThymeThey did another video like this one that I watched recently and it included Mrs Wollawitz and John Ritter.
Lavern from Scrubs and Hayley from Criminal Minds. Those break my heart every time
I will never get over Dr. Mark Greenes death. I was 9 when me and my mom watched it and I still remember originally watching it and I will still cry anytime in see it
I can't believe they didn't put any of the MANY shocking deaths of "Supernatural". I was expecting Bobby Singer being on the list, or even Charlie Bradbury (she totally didn't deserve to die the way she did). Maybe even Sam's death at the end of season 2. Even if he was brought back, his death came as a shock to us all.
yeah the deaths of Bobby,Crowley and Charlie are still so hard to take
I concur. Charlie's death was the worse. And let's not forget about Dean's death at the series finale. It's resounding in me even after years had been passed since...
28:19 I was thinking of Sons of Anarchy for shocking deaths & completely forgot about Tara’s. I was thinking of Opie’s & Dawn’s but not about Tara’s.
how could Sweets from "Bones" not be on here?? And another snub of "Supernatural"....Bobby and Charlie should be on here too
I bawled my eyes out when Mark Greene died 😭😭😭 he was the heart and soul of ER❤️
Ned Stark. Killed the main character in season one. I think that was more shocking than the Red Wedding.
Not if you know Sean Bean’s track record 😆
You forgot Kate from NCIS. Season 2 episode 23. Jaw dropping and heart breaking.
I would add Logan's death on Veronica Mars.
Never happened. Because season 4 never happened. It was all a figment of Veronica's imagination. And ours.
I'll never be over either Dr Janet Fraser in Stargate SG1, and Hoban "Wash" Washburne in Firefly.
Yep, Doctor Fraser. Still cuts to this day. Also, when we find out that Hammond (of Texas) passed away and one of the ships was named after him.
Wash's death was in the film, not the show.
Joyce Sunmers still breaks my heart.
The following episode is still amazing as it has NO background music at all.
I legit cried when Eddie and Glenn died in their respective shows stranger things and The walking Dead they were my favorite characters in the shows and they died 💔
Charlie in Lost
That Hurt! BAD!
Not penny’s boat!
Why do you guys hate "Ally McBeal." The sudden death of Billy Thomas as he is giving his closing argument in his case when suddenly he turns to Ally and proceeds to say their married with kids and it's everything (he's suffering from a brain tumor in the previous episode) when he all of sudden sits down in the court room and dies ... Calista Flockhart's heart-wrenching realization that Billy is gone still gets me to this day ... then you see her enter Cage & Fish via the elevator where she asks for everyone's attention and proceeds to say that 40 minutes ago Billy Thomas Died. There's is not one word as all the employees just stand there in shock and dismay ... come on #MsMojo
Yes. I was waiting to see Billy's shocking death on the list. "Ally McBeal" was a long-running, Emmy Award-winning series yet it never seems to get any love from MsMojo. 😢
I can think of many that could make this list
Mrs Wolowitz from The Big Bang Theory
Finn Hudson from Glee
George Cooper from Young Sheldon
Several deaths from 9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lone Star
The father and grandfather from The Goldbergs
George!? Seriously!? We always knew he was gonna die!
@@marieangels6 but we didn't know when
Mike delfino's death on Desperate Housewives really messed me up
I was somehow laughing and smiling and also incredibly sad at Tanya’s death in The White Lotus…we were all rooting for her 🥲
Prue in Charmed
Charmed seems to get missed a lot i these lists! I'm also Charlie or Bobby from Supernatural never made the list.
Okay … NONE of these top Ianto Jones from Torchwood. There was (and possibly still is) a SHRINE to this character in Wales. It was part of the Doctor Who tour for a while.
When Marshall's father passed, no one on the cast knew it was going to happen except Lily. His reaction was real and (though i myself havent heard it) it is said a gasp was heard off screen as some of the crew reacted. To me, that was a gut punch
Kutner's death on House MD pissed me off but I respect Kal Penn's decision to leave.
I would add this one -- On Thirtysomething, when everyone breathes a huge sigh of relief to find out Nancy's cancer is gone -- then the phone rings, and Michael finds out that Gary has died. Absolutely jaw dropping and devastating plot twist, and the biggest emotional rollercoaster ride of an episode I think I have ever seen.
YES! It was so shocking that viewers were calling in sick to work the next day!
@@LauraSchendel-ko1qk I believe it. That was enough to make anyone useless for at least a day or two!!
Yes. I commented on this one being missed out then saw your comment! I still recall sobbing watching it when it originally aired.
I watched the entire video just certain “Gary” would be included. So, I said I would scroll to find a kindred soul and here you are! Thank you…
I knew Buffy would be in here.
I can' t get over Glenn TWD
Great video! Mike Delfino in season 8 of Desperate Housewives really surprised me.
You should’ve included Carl for The Walking Dead
Amazing list
It doesn’t mean they died in real life, except Luke Perry
Here's one's that shocked me:
Prue Halliwell on Charmed, yes the charmed ones died...A LOT, but at the end of season 3 Shax "killed" Prue and Piper, but he "only had time to save Piper"?.
Robin Hood: Once upon a time
Laurel Lance: Arrow
Paul Hennessy & Sam JD's Dad (from 8 Simple Rules & Scrubs).
also Neal's death in OUAT,he deserved to be happy with Emma and their son Henry.
@@DryBones271they only killed Paul off because john ritter died irl that's the only reason his character died and yes it was shocking but unfortunately it had to be done. 😢😢
One Tree Hill, Skins(UK), Degrassi: The Next Generation, The 100, The O.C, Charmed, Glee, Yellowjackets, Veronica Mars (Petition to erase season 4 completely)....
You missed Howard's mother Big Bang Theory. Even though her character was never seen , she was beloved by millions so when she died it stunned everyone.
Mojo put out 2 videos. She was mentioned in the other one.
Where in the hell is Edith Bunker?? unforgivable you would leave her out!
I cried when she died
@@WaiferThyme Me Too!
@@MADWORLD1427Thousands did. Archie cried and we all cried (I was still a kid) with him.
@@maestroclassico5801 I didn't see it until CZcams and still cried!
Thank you for the update, MsMojo..!! 29:12 I agree. That scene was absolutely brutal. I thought that actor with a baseball bat was the same dude as the one who appeared in "No Country for Old Men (2007)". 🤣
Jeffery dean Morgan wasn’t in that movie and he made a really good negan
My sister loves JDM from Supernatural. She started watching TWD and got to that episode before I had a chance to warn her. She was... absolutely wrecked.
They look very similar.
Ben Sullivan from Scrubs.😪🙏
Scrubs has a couple of real tear jerkers. Ben is the top one, but I would include Jill Tracey (and the ensuing aftermath with Dr. Cox), Mrs. Wilks (killed by an incompetent intern right after he was fired) and JD's dad (with the untimely passing of John Ritter).
Absolutely. R.I.P John Ritter. 🙏
Eddie isn't DEAD dead yet. 🤞🤞
I was surprise that Lucy Knight (Kellie Martin) wasn’t the choice for ER
Hers was a tragic death for sure. However Dr. Mark Green was much more important in the show.
@@jennyfab312Mark’s death wasn’t as shocking though. We knew it was coming; he’d been suffering for a couple of seasons. Lucy’s death just comes out of nowhere.
My #1 is Warrick Brown on CSI. I swear I didn’t breathe for 2 whole minutes while Grissom was holding him. #2, Gant ( not Pratt) on ER. The team working on a patient and then hearing his pager in his pocket. Whoooo mamma.
That was Gant whose pager goes off while they’re working on him.
@bethanyhait6880 oooh yes, you're right!
Edith Bunker (Archie Bunker’s Place)
Although Edith’s death occurred off-screen, the impact it had on Archie at the episode’s end was incredibly emotional and memorable. I’m surprised it wasn’t on the list.
Eddie LeBec (Cheers)
Carla Tortelli’s second husband, hockey goalie Eddie LeBec, died in the ice after being struck by a Zamboni. Apparently, actor Jay Thomas made a disparaging remark about Rhea Perlman on his radio talk show. Rhea, who is said to be a really nice person, heard it and told the writers she didn’t want to see him again. Hence, LeBec was written off the show.
Also Dawson's Creek Mich Dawson and Jen
I can't believe that Once Upon A Time didn't make the list.
Robin Hood's (Season 5) death was one of the most devastating events to occur in Once Upon a Time's six year history. It was entirely unexpected. The murder of Regina's true love at Hades' hand was a shocking and heartbreaking moment in the rather lackluster Underworld arc.
I know,it was so unfair
I can't believe Once Upon a Time lasted as long as it did. That was a stupid show. I watched it once and couldn't get into it.
Mark Green ER will always be my worst
Derek's death was such a sad series finale for Grey's Anatomy
I actually cried when Derek died Grays Anatomy
I thought Grey's Anatomy was a stupid show and still do.
Derek's death and George's death totally shook me. I cried over both of them so sad 😢😢
Barry Frost-Rizzoli & Isles
Lance Sweets-Bones
Hailey Hotchner-Criminal Minds
Wow, I’m real early today
I thought Nate's death towards the end of SIX FEET UNDER was pretty sudden.
Mr. Hooper on Sesame Street.
I was just thinking of him!
I watched that with my mom. That show never failed to teach reality in a kind manner.
I was a big Mr. Hooper fan. I doubt most people even remember him. I can’t remember if it was before or after he passed, but I went as him on Halloween one year.
It's been years and my older sister is STILL torn up over Glenn's death. TWD was on in the hospital while she was giving birth and I don't know if it's possible to make yourself need a C-section but uh, she wasn't in the room to watch the rest of the newest episode at the time because after Glenn died she stopped watching.
On the season 1 DVD of 24, there's an alternate ending in which Jack and Kim find Teri in restraints but alive. They free her and embrace. My mother said that they did that to give them an advantage in contract negotiations with the actress who played Teri, meaning if they could not come to terms they had an in-show explanation for her absence in future seasons.
I still cry every time I see the scene where Radar tells of Blake's death in MASH.
There was a worse one on ER when a doctor was mangled and brought into the ER. When he is paged they realized that he is the doctor.
That was Gant
Stargate SG1 Doctor Janet Fraiser's death stunned me when it happened. It's still one of those episodes that haunts me. And that MASH episode definitely deserves the top of the list. It was shocking in it's day.
Yes! I'm still not over Janet.
Game of thrones can cover this entire list😅
You don’t say
But for me the 2 bests death are
Jeoffrey and Ramsey 👌🏼👌🏼
God they where the worst 😂😂
I think they've posted this video before.
They've posted shorter lists before.
Nate Fisher from Six Feet Under?
Teri’s death in 24 was impactful but what made it so much more heartbreaking was the fact that editors used black-and-white clips from the first episode as flashbacks. Jack Bauer promised to put his family back together and in the end that’s taken away from him.
Gary’s death on Thirty Something still haunts me.
Same!
@@annieanonymous611 It was so shocking that people were calling in sick to work the next morning!
Mona Simpson From The Simpsons (1989-) & Cotton Hill from King Of The Hill (1997-2010) 2 deaths from the Fox Animation Canon and on the same night
They said LIVE-ACTION only.
I'll never forget the experience of watching "The Body." It broke me. It really did.
List is alright.
Glenn Rhee, Happy sunday morning, Phoebe, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Of course there was the shocking and heartbreaking death of Ben on Scrubs. They really played around with your mind on that one, perhaps dropping a hint or two along the way, but it still hit like a ton of bricks. (This did show up on another, similar topic yesterday.)
Narrator says "number 3" whilst at the start of the video, which shoes its number 30"
Although not as popular a TV show, the death of Assumpta Fitzgerald on BBC’s Ballykissangel makes my personal list.
You didn’t even put Alice and the baby from little house on the prairie! That was the most shocking death scene at that time, that was an uproar from viewers, and Michael Landon and Melissa Sue Anderson had to apologize for making that episode!
Why Michael Landon and Melissa Sue Anderson? They were actors, not the writers.
@@sureshmukhi2316 Landon actually wrote that episode, and Melissa Sue Anderson wasn’t happy with doing that episode, she couldn’t watch herself, it was her most disdained moment on the show.
@@Markimark151 i googled it. Yes, Michael Landon wrote that episode. You're right. Now I understand what you mean.
@@sureshmukhi2316 Michael Landon was an executive producer of the show.
I'm surprised Supernatural wasn't on this list.
yeah the deaths of Bobby,Crowley and Charlie are still so hard to take
Edith Bunker, Archie Bunker's Place and Alan Birch, Chicago Hope.
9:23 Speaking as someone who got into this show during the summer of 2022, this death was, and still is, certainly the one to stick in my head the most!! I still remember sobbing into my pillow the night I watched that episode for the first time. 😢😢😢 He’s still currently my favorite character of the show, and I appreciate how he reminded me, both then and now, to not let other people judge me because of what I like. I still get somewhat emotional when it’s brought up, and likely will with the teases so far for Season 5… 💔💔💔
This list is missing Kate from NCIS, her death was just out of nowhere.
A few that come to mind for me.
- Lincoln on Agents of SHIELD.
- Clarke killing Bellamy on The 100
- President Kirkman's wife on Designated Survivor
- Jason Gideon on Criminal Minds
Paul Henesee in 8 Simple Rules. John Ritter's death was devastating.
Keith from One Tree Hill is still a crazy to me
I was mad as hell when Tanya drowned on White Lotus....Queen JCool
joyce in buffy will always get me everytime i watch the episode. even though not totally surprising cause she had healt issue all along the 5th season. but what shocked was how suden it was and normal. and the scene was plaied perfectly, with no music, wich made it hit harder somehow, and felt so real. heartbreaking really.
After Pousse died, OITNB was difficult to watch.
I just couldn't deal with it
I couldn't handle Red being totrured
I'm not sure that Dan Conner from Roseanne Reboot wasn't actually dead.
I know Ms Mojo would never in a million years mention a show like this, but Jack's death on When Calls the Heart came as a huge shock to fans. Elizabeth's reaction was so gut-wrenching, too. I have never cried like that over a tv show!
Laurel Lane on arrow and Bob Singer on supernatural also Johnathan Kent on Smallville.
The only tv show I've ever cried for was when Kevin Arnold's dad dies in the finale. We don't see it, we just hear the narration. Sobbed like a baby.
The Red Wedding is the most shocking to me as I don't think anyone saw that coming. As for Col. Blake, it's said that when McLean Stevenson found out they were killing Henry off he cried.
7:22-7:25 that just happened to me. At the beginning of April this year, I visited my uncle, the next day i got news that he had passed away during the evening/early morning. 😢
The termination of cameron on sarah connor chronicles got me i would have thought she would have gone back with john to the past.
I don’t care what anyone says, HIMYM and Marvin’s death was absolutely heartbreaking. Such a tremendously executed piece.
Mathew’s death in downton abbey, was a true shock to millions in context to to all that came
before In their relationship.
I knew he was going to die because he was just so damn happy while driving down the road. I was watching him and thinking, "Uh-oh."
