Yes I got woody three years ago ,I'd been out with falconers for some time, I chose a Harris hawk for just the sort of thing I do now, out with dogs in all terrain and weather. Thank you .
You've been busy. What an exciting new hobby. I have helped out a neighbour with injured birds in the past and found it to be a privilege to handle them. Keep on keeping on.

There's definitely a very cost-effective method of providing a mews for your hawk! It looks simple enough, that window looks like a fence! I'm also liking the artificial grass on put in there as well! Camping tarp is also a good solution to catch the mutes of the hawk! I got a question, does the perch have artificial grass as well?
This has changed over time , now it has an aviary attached to the front, also with wooden Dowling as a window to reduce tail damage. I like the artificial grass , I remove it and jet wash it off when cleaning. I have long perches in both aviary and mews , they both have Astro Turf in various places, not the soft grass type hanging in the mews. If you want to see there are videos with building aviary and cleaning mews.

I think it’s one of the things that make us alive sometimes helping an animal in some way or being in the presence of one.
