Due to popular demand, it is here! 20 more songs from the 1960's, 8 seconds to guess the title and the artist. Good luck! If you want to support me, you can buy me a 'coffee' here: bmc.link/musiquizzers
19 out of 20. I couldn't remember the title of the song performed by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, because they did so much together. More quizzes please! 👍
Yeah it's a typo I made and I apologize for it! It's pretty much impossible to change the typo in a video once uploaded :( I wish there was a spell check in my video editor software! The upside: a small typo allowed me to see the musical knowledge, carefulness and desire to share with our community! Please always share when you see a typo as I love to see it, but know that it's not out of laziness that I can't change it. ✌🏻 Thanks y'all for being here
9 of 20 for me. Cant help falling in love, my girl, sweet Caroline, can't buy me love, be my baby, sound of silence, a whiter shade of pale, downtown, paint it black.
I missed a total of five, knowing the artist on two, the title on three. Thanks for taking the time to post these and I agree with the comment on the track by the singing duo...
I got 18/20. Missed both artist and song on two of them. Props for using the original take on S&G's Sound of Silence. The drums never really did anything for me.
I got four wrong - was thinking I'd get them all except perhaps one... but I was caught out by the first track which I really should have got. 🤣Same with a later one (can't mention titles or artists here and spoil things) but I mixed that up with another similar sounding as well! They are good fun these quizzes - thank you. Subbed.
Didn't know the Marvin Gaye one and there was a couple of others that i knew the song title but couldn't think of the artist, not bad for someone who was born halfway through that decade. My Mum has requested a 1940's or 50's one 🤣
They were more or less assembled by Pete Townshend from folks around him. John "Speedy" Keen, the drummer and writer (and singer) of "Something in the Air" had been a Who roadie; he wrote "Armenia, City in the Sky" that appears on "The Who Sell Out" album. Andy "Thunderclap" Newman was an eccentric multi-instrumentalist that Townshend knew. He's on piano and the honking bassoon (?) in the middle instrumental break. And Jimmy ("Little Jimmy") McCulloch was a teenage guitar prodigy just making his bones on the London scene. He would go on to play for Stone the Crows and also Paul McCartney & Wings before dying tragically at age 26. In addition, Townshend himself plays uncredited bass on the hit "Something in the Air". They released one Townshend-produced album, 1970's "Hollywood Dream", before splintering. It's pretty good (with songs mostly by Keen), and well worth checking out.
Thank you for your understanding that this quiz is made with love but can contain human errors! Thanks for being here anyway - A human, not in the shitter ✌🏻❤️

goldtown6747: the title of the song is: aint nothing like the real thing. 20/20
My goodness that was a good decade for music!
Rats!! i missed "Downtown" by Petuna Clark. Silly me, i thought her name was Petula.
It is Petula 🙂.
@@haga2519 Sarcasm.
Her name IS PETULA.
@@pettytoni1955 He knows.
it's Petula Clark, not Petuna
I was going to say the same thing.
Too much reliance on auto correct.
DAMN SMELL CHECKER !

Got them all here. Bring it on ! Do the 50's, I'm pretty good there.
Our new video is 50s and it's up there! Have fun!
18/20, several identified within first three seconds
For being an 80s baby I got 17/20. Which 2 I have never heard before
You did great! Thank you so much for being here! I hope you enjoyed the other videos ✌🏻

I'd love to see a 70's top 40 quiz!
We have a 70s quiz, but not just not top 40, hope you enjoy it!
Great. Thank you for posting. Didnt get them all, but a respectable number. Love the obscure one you included "Crimson and Clover" a fantastic song.
Great collection of songs. I’m singing 😊
I killed Pt. 1, my 77 yo brain ran behind on this one!
Good songs.

My Era 20 out of 20
Boom! Congrats, and thanks for taking the quiz!
Missed 4 - knew them but couldn't get the title in time.
Still a super good score! A lot of viewers say they pause the video to take the time. I'm not taking counts ;) haha
Petuna Clark, eh? Wonder if she knows Del Cactus from quiz #1?
Actually they did! Petula Clark sang a song with Jacques Dutronc. Enjoy 😘 czcams.com/video/tMhAfHGd680/video.htmlsi=0wugDUI4WGBmGWww
Piece of cake!
Lots of fun, thank you
Glad you enjoyed it

Boom 💥 ! Fairplay! Thanks for watching
Please put up some from the 70's. I got more of these than I thought I would.
If you go to the channel, you will see that there are videos for the '70s! Enjoy!
Remember most, but I still can't find my keys
Got 'em all!
Petula Clark
Yes! Typo that slipped in, thanks for highlighting the right spelling!
Got 17.
Go you!
Missed two.
Put a little extra into the late 60s. Should have split it with the early part of the decade. Music was just as good then as well.
Thank you so much for the feedback!! There will be more '60s video coming, and I am definitely taking your feedback on board!
I got 12 .Getting old
As long as you're having fun, we're not keeping scores 😉
This time I got 9 out of 20.
Great quizzes…but why so little Elvis. He was the second top selling artist in the 60s, after the Beatles
The unfortunate reason for so little Elvis is copyrights on CZcams. 🫣
I missed two - is it cheating if I paused a couple and sang them til I remembered the song/artist?
If you had fun, cheating doesn't matter and is encouraged! :)
I thought about that. I think I still would've missed 2.
PETULA Clark not Patuna Clark sings Downtown.
How did I do.?…….Absolutely terribly .☹️
But did you have fun? More important ❤️
19 out of 20. I didn't know something in the air
For what it's worth, you did great.
100%! 🫶🏻
Love these quizzes but I am useless, I recognise them all but never remember both title and artist 🙈
It's all for fun in the end, so as long as you're having a good time, go you! ✌🏻⭐
I get most of them, but need more than 8 seconds to play the song in my head.
Knew All of them.
Just missed one because I didn't recognize the break!
Who's Petuna Clark? Was she the chicken of the sea?
Didn't know the Marvin Gaye one and there was a couple of others that i knew the song title but couldn't think of the artist, not bad for someone who was born halfway through that decade.

I could have written this exact post…except the request from ur mom
Awesome and thanks for the recommendations! Added to the backlog for sure!
Thanks for being here!
18/20 - I never knew White Rabbit and I missed the Marvin Gaye one. Otherwise, I'm happy!
18 is an awesome score! ✌🏻
@@Musiquizzers thanks - wouldn't do so well on an 80s quiz!!😄
Never knew white rabbit 😮! You definitely did not grow up during the 60's. I did & I would not miss that.
@@carolynridlon3988 I certainly did grow up in the 60s. I never cared for Jefferson Airplane and I could probably name songs you don't know too.
Was Thunderclap Newman just a regional band? I don't think I've ever hear it before.

PetuNa Clark... SERIOUSLY???
Yep, I unfortunately SERIOUSLY made a typo, but thanks to kind users, viewers can see the real artist name
I didn’t know 1 song and 3 artists.
Awesome results! Thanks for being here!
I thought it was Petula Clark not Petuna
You are right! I unfortunately made a typo then you and other awesome viewers noted it. ❤️
"PetuNa Clark" ???? It was PetuLa, thanks. Getting things like this wrong can send your credibility right into the shitter...

Yes, thank you for pointing out, it is a pure typo. About that, sorry about that!
