Really like the crazy horse ones, loved seeing all your docs. Just got some 3989 brogues which I’m obsessed with and Sinclairs because I like the Jason’s but they have softer leather and easier to break 8n, a a slightly smaller platform too
Been wearing doc martens since the 80’s and it amazes me how I hear people say they last so many years. On the smooth leather never got more than 1 year of use. On the softer leather maybe 2 years. I’m talking about like every day/work use.🤔
I’ve had mine since I was 12 and I’m now 20 so mine are keeping pretty well 😂. I don’t use them every day anymore although I used to in high school for a couple years
You had your Docs for 20 year's? Did you inherit them from a parent? Were your 1460s very stiff when you first got them? I'm new to the Doc Martens scene. Thanks in advance.
Get solovairs. They made docs b4 they became horrible post early 90s, still use the same tooling they did when they made docs, still use a shank, better "corrected" leather and the airsole last longer
@@hiimlivv True Only 2 pairs bloken in I'm just on my 3rd burgundy pair took delivery of my 8th pair yesterday 1460s cherry red made in England Just luv em👍
I definitely agree with you - I love the look of worn-in beaten up docs!
They discontinued leather combs in the UK so ordered mine from Germany😂 Love that boot.

I've ussed the wonder stuff on both pairs of my docs and they still have the lines, it happens either way, looks nice though anyway
Yes they still appear, however sometimes they can cause cracking so the balsam prevents this :)

My Docs will last forever because my feet prefer wooden clogs to Martin.
