- Will this become the most viewed comparison video on CZcams?! LIKE if you agree! (Fun fact: I am also a classical pianist, and you should check my music here: @pardonmypiano ) I hope my piano teacher will never discover my simulation...
Today we are celebrating 30.000 subs and 6 MILLION views on this channel! I am deeply grateful to everyone for your amazing daily support! I don't think I've ever seen such a wonderful community of people online :)

I hope these simulations will bring more earthquake awareness around the world and educate the general public about potential earthquake related hazards. Remember that earthquakes can be catastrophic, however climate change is 100x TIMES worse... I do also hope that my videos will inspire a younger generation of architects, engineers and scientists!

Welcome to the world’s largest and only 3D earthquake simulation channel on CZcams! My channel focuses on realistic 3D earthquake simulations of a variety of virtual structures and types of buildings from around the world. Some of my work has been featured by various international media news outlets and it has also been used by other large CZcams channels such as GeologyHub, GeoPop and CaSeismograph for educational purposes. This channel’s content has also been featured on the Curiosity Channel in a recent documentary called “Breakthrough: Forecasting the Big One”.
The simulations that I post serve an educational purpose and should be solely treated as such. We should not forget that earthquakes are real world events that can sometimes lead to loss of properties and lives.

Thank you for the earthquake simulation videos 🙂 Being myself a musician (harpsichordist and fortepianist in particular), I'd just observe that one normally keeps (or should keep) the instrument's lid closed. I live in Naples, in the South of Italy: in 1980 this town (and a region as vast as Belgium) was hit by a 7.0 earthquake (about 1 min 40 sec long), and many small towns and villages were utterly obliterated. Interesting enough, both the Conservatoires of the towns of Avellino and Potenza collapsed, but almost all the grand pianos were rescued from the debris and were usable after a restoration. So the advice is: keep the lid closed if the instrument is not used, especially if you live in a seismic zone ;-) !!
@@henricusbajanensis wow thank you so much for your feedback! :) that was quite an interesting fact! welcome to this wonderful community by the way!
@earthquakesSim I hope so too!
Nice. I think your teacher wants extra insurance
EarthquakeSim, can you simulate the Great East Japan Earthquake with this building?
the true stages of earthquake intensity at a piano concert
1.: some fat guy in the audience has taken his seat
2.: staff is slamming the doors after a very late person
3.: Do they have special sensurround effects in the building to make you feel the music?
4.: playing Beethoven
5.: playing normal Tchaikovski
6.: playing Wagner
7.: playing Tchaikovski's "1812" with artificial cannon sound
8.: playing "1812" realisticly with guns
9.: playing "1812" with guns using live ammo
10.: Kick these heavy metal freaks out.
11.: Russian Wagner musicians at work.
12.: Switch to open air concerts.
LOL
As a pianist, this makes me wanna cry.
Same here
me too

Oh and congratulations on 30k subscribers
2:31 Piano: Haha, do you truly think you can beat me? You only beat my head, earthquake!
2:48 Still piano: AHHHH, I'M SORRY... DON'T BREAK MY TEETH!!! OWWW!!!
🤣🤣🤣
I love the earthquake simulation videos that have sound effects, well done on that one
Love the simulation as well!
Happy 30k subs
I love ur vids! Keep educating:)
Simulation looking cool! I've discovered this channel when I found a video about earthquake simulations in a office and in a grocery store over a month ago!
Thanks for letting me know! 😁
Discovered your channel 7 months ago, on your opera house video!
Dude, these simulations you made are so cool. It would be so much fun to make a game like this.
Brilliant job! Lets pray and hope that we shall never go through such heavy earthquakes( 5 and greater)
Happy 30k subs EarthquakeSim
totaly hilarious. cant stop laughing, even now, loved the way the piano goes "dong", as the roof colapses on top of it. my brother was here, as i watched this one, but he couldn't see the funny side, & said i had a weird sence of humour!🤣🤣🤣🤣me🙁🙁🙁😕😕my brother
Haha thanks for watching and I'm happy you had a good laugh!!
Can you please make a house from WWII with an Anderson-shelter and I love your animations keep up the work
Thank you so much for your suggestion!! I will take a note 🙂
Very cool
Safest place to be in an earthquake - take cover in a grand piano.
[Intensity XII earthquake happens]
Piano Teacher: "You better still show up for practice this week!"
And That's how a Piano Teacher loses students!
Kepencet notif
That was great!
Hey earthquake sim i have been a subscriber for many days since from the start and can you do the latest earthquake in phillipines 6.4 in the sea 😊🎉❤
Well, it looks as if a grand piano is a reasonably good place under which to take cover up to Mercalli 10. It might need to be retuned after a somewhat lower level
And AWAY from that glass partition! The piano was fine until the partition fell on it. Even that brace that holds up the piano top did its job until the more intense earthquakes. Whoever made tbose pianos could put this sim in their ads to show the piano's sturdiness
Love all the added sound effects for the bricks falling
Cool
Wow! That was realistic! I live 15 minutes away from a nuclear power plant, so if there was a strong earthquake here in southern Pennsylvania, which would be extremely rare, we'd be in deep trouble. I also think it's cool that the EAS was on, and that, too, was realistic. Keep up the great work! 😊
the vase at intensity 5:OWIE MOMMMMY OW
1:16 doors bookshelf sound!?
Can you please do the Türkiye earthquake?
I wonder how other types of pianos would hold up. I have a really old upright piano that's been in my family for at least a century. It would probably collapse at a lower intensity quake.
also at intesnity 8 why is a note on the piano playing, but nothing's touching it?
My older brother wanted to hide this video lol
1:42 brick!
Ah yes a 13 magnitude earthquake
These videos are popular and famous.
That grand piano is going to need a lot more than a tuning! Certainly no way to get your Rachmaninoff. EqS, please assure me that no pianos were harmed in making this simulation. My friend, thank you for the humor, but don't give up your music, entirely; after all, that's what introduced me to your channels, when the subscriber numbers were near their beginnings.
AT least the piano survived. (Almost)
looks horrifying...
Jimmy get out theres an earthquake😂
2:47 the room learnt to how to fly :D
2:11
What about 13
piano has only two front legs bruh
12級地震
3:19 that ain't a earthquake thats the whole country splitting in half
It was a quake , what’s with you mind, bruh.
Aaaaaaaaaah
>:(
Honestly, I was hoping the piano would hop around a little bit more. Have you ever played Super Mario 64 where in Big Boo's Haunt there is the "Mad Piano"? Thar be nightmare fuel!
