"Have a safe trip", I said jokingly as family of 3 including an infant pulled out to drive 5 minutes to their vacation rental somewhere overlooking Hucrest area. Seconds later, multiple police units were all over the place. They were chasing someone in a vehicle. Allegedly, pedestrians were almost hit.

Suspect in custody at 9:29:32. After listening to the scanner audio, I feel some sympathy for the guy. But- people should not endanger others with that reckless sort of driving. So many people with specialized tools, equipment, and training involved in this incident. I wonder what the response to this incident cost?
