Great finds ! Those uniforms are great ! That flowered coat was adorable on Heather. Today I got a wedding dress ( size 4) that I'm using fabric from to make a skirt to match my Barbie Silken Flame coat. It's not a vintage wedding gown, so it's not exactly bridal satin, but it's still nicer quality than I could find in a craft store .. and it cost around $20. with shipping. Turns out that it had it's own netting slip under, so I'll make that into a slip for under 50's skirts

Try Salvation Army or St. Vincent de Paul, if you get a chance. Goodwill has raised their prices so much on clothing.YEs amazing military jacket Dave, and you look so handsome in it, Sgt. Pepper. The community thrift shops are the best I think, the ones that just pop up now and then. How are you finding the prices compare?
The prices are a mixed bag. Depending on the store , for example the Ariat boots for $2.99 were a great price and the bins prices are remarkable. There seems to be more of a selection of sportswear here. Eclectic clothing from various cultures seems to be harder to come by.
Are those military uniforms reserved for certain positions in the service? Does the design signify a level of command? I am curious as to the significance of the uniforms. The black one is most striking.

Was the embroidered Mexican dress cotton. The cotton ones are getting really hard to find. They use polyester now. I still like them, though.
