If you really love the shoes and they are only a tad too small, try using a shoe stretcher. Put the stretcher in and leave it there a couple of days and voila! They'll fit perfectly!

I love, love, love The Bins, yes! My local ones are really not all that great, but I still find stuff! So much fun. I found a great lamp shade one day; I've found old toys, good CDs, but never leather coats with fur collars. You go guys! Maybe the case is for a bow instead of rifle? Don't know.

i have seen someone making overalls, and tops and pants out of those old vintage calendars like that and/or tea towels that are vintage and they are so cool! i bet you could do that to Heather! You are so creative!
Wow amazing finds, so glad you saved those from the landfill! I've been to the bins only once bc there aren't any near me, and I found really good leather items too. If you go again make sure you don't take stuff out of people's carts! They leave them to the side while they keep shopping (usually with a blanket over it). Idk if that's where you found the long tan coat. People get very competitive, a lot of resellers shop at the bins exclusively. Looks like you guys are having fun on the road trip, can't wait to see more!
Ya we are getting lucky with the finds and are so happy to save them from the landfill. We did not touch the carts that had items in them as we were thinking the same as you. It was kind of bazaar though because what was in many of the carts did look like they would have any resale value. I think I would be very scared of the bins at the thrift store myself. I am only 5' 1", short arms and I would be fearful amongst throngs of people. Plus, I would be by myself and no one to take me there, namely a supportive guy like Dave. So....I just stay away from the bins.🤐 I don't even go to thrift stores on weekends either because more crowds in the store and just go on an off weekday when less people in the thrift store. Don't go to a bank on Mondays or Fridays or the first few days of the month due to the crowds and long lines.

The bins in USA St. Louis MO are dangerous, people run into you snatch stuff out of your hand as you sift through the bins, it is awful. Only went once. They take things out of your cart too. People have to take blankets and cover their stuff so no one steals it, it is ridiculous, awful.
