Kamaru is the better wrestler for sure but I think Leon will be able to keep it standing for the most part and out strike Usman to decision. This can be looked as ridiculous bc it's obviously not true. Leon obviously thinks he's a better fighter than Usman, but Usman believes that.
But it helps Usman, that mindset. He believes what he chooses to instead of what he has to. It's like living live on your terms, dancing to your own toon. Which is one of the reason he exudes confidence.

The interviewer clearly had a bias, and was pretty confrontational about some legitimate answers. Felt more like he was trying to get under his skin than ask a question in most of these cases.

I can see Usman is a confident dude. And, yes, he did dominate most of his fight with Leon. But he’s about to make the same mistake as last time by underestimating him. Leon’s path has not been easy which shows he has grit, determination, patience and fortitude and wants to retain his belt as much as he wanted to win it. In front of his home crowd he is going to give Usman one hell of a fight.
Nah Usman wins Unanimous Decision this time. Leon isn’t going to fight the same fight as he did last time. If he has any chance of winning he has to defend the wrestling from Usman a lot better this time

My friend. Usman is not underestimating Leon, nor did he in the second fight. He got caught after a pretty dominant fight. Usman is not one to underestimate an opponent. You don't get to 20-2, with a 19 fight win streak, whilst champion, after lapping the top of the division by underestimating your competition. Usman is confident in his own abilities, as he should be and as he needs to be. He gave Leon every bit of respect. Another thing, every fighter talks about how they were ill or injured going into a fight, and while a lot of the time it is true, injuries are unavoidable in the sport especially leading up to a fight, they are still excuses when you throw them out after a loss. Kamaru hasn't said a word. He admits he had a bad night and Leon got him fair and square but he's gone back and is coming back better. No complaints, no excuses, just dues paid and straight to business. What more do you want?

I have a feeling there is gonna be a whole lot of hugging in this fight. Almost like woodsy vs usman type fight. Usman it's gonna play it safe. He is obviously a bit stronger and in the clinch he will have the upper hand. Wrestling it's also in Usmans advantage. Striking wise Leon has good calf kicks but they are only good if the fight its standing. I see kamaru taking him down and keeping him there. He will not risk standing with Leon again.

He cleaned out the 168lb and became undisputed. There were some fighters he could’ve fought but to be fair he beat all the champions. He then moved up and fought a top p4p fighter in Bivol and lost. No shame in that. He’ll fight Ryder and then his next fight would have to be a big one. Either a rematch with Bivol at 175 or , Benavidez at 168 assuming he gets past Plant.

Its a striking strategy. You lose if you get knocked out and yo uare the better fighter if you win the fight. Just accept it. I think izzy has won about 12 rounds against perreira now.

I have never rooted for Usman in any of his fights... But imo he got this win in the bag by UD or Even by a late Masvidal like KO. I mean if we are being honest.. Apart from that perfect headkick it has been a one sided affair both the time they have fought.. Even Colby was more of a challenge to Usman than Leon in both fights. The only concern for Usman is his age.. That's the only thing that might be his undoing.

leon was respectfull from what i seen even tried to shake usman's hand after the ko usman didn't want to the guy is actin like he aint too bothered but he knows everyone knows inside that ko loss eats away at him especially the way he was going on leading into the 2nd fight
