Majority of times when tech is used on clay, the players erase the mark as soon as the challenge is requested from Hawkeye, so they can be ready for the next point.. Umpires lack consistency when making different decisions from one match to the next, especially Fergus Murphy.. Rublev has a right to be annoyed that the rules aren't being implemented consistently & seem to depend on whether or not the umpire likes a specific player on the day.
