We can go on argue about how things should be and how we should react, idealy. Reality is that this could not not happen. When you bring the sufferings of israelis and palestinians into eurovision, this happens. And that is why israel never should have participated this year. This is a song contestant, not a political rally. The people there are artists, not politicians. Ebu was warned about this, and they chose to ignore. And so the contestants got involved in a conflict that no top diplomat nor us president have ever been able to solve. Ebu really did put their contestants in an lmpossible and threatening situation. Hope ebu has learned its lesson. But in an ideal world everyone is not biased and not emtionally involved in a conflict familiar to the majority of europe. A conflict inwhich divides europe politically and triggers deep emotions. I really miss a more pragmatic and realistic aproach to the whole thing.
At this point, I’d have also preferred Israel not participating at all. The competition is supposed to be non-political, but that just doesn’t seem possible.
True - whether one is with Israel or Palestine, the EBU put all sides at risk, as clearly Israel is a controversial pick. And so, same as with Russia, they should have just ban them (at least for the safety of everyone there).

Now please could you do another video where you make jokes about those who think the booing in the ESC area was based on racism instead of a critique of EBU's decision not to exclude Israel despite loads of ESC fans asking for it since the beginning of the Eurovision season. See the boos for Martin Österdahl, also the big cheer when Ukraine took over the lead with the televote points, ensuring the next year's ESC wouldn't be hosted in Israel.

@@Eva-mp7xg Israel is an old member of the show and a legitimate State so i must disagree.
@@etcwhatever Israeli song had to be rewritten, because originally it was "October Rain" and political messages are not allowed in ESC. Then their delegation harassed other contestants, filming them in areas and periods that were agreed not to have filming allowed. Just because you're a member, you are not allowed to break the rules. See Russia and Belarus being banned for crossing rules earlier.
Thanks for being you!
Im sorry that this is happening. Keep your message alive. Your message is beyond geo politicsand begatry. Your work reaches the level of humanity. Please continue to ground people to earth. I know it works with me. To be angry or frustrated is one thing but to displace those feelings on a human being is wrong. Keep up the great work and your not a shitty comedian you are an OK comedian 😜 jk. But if you make it to baltimore maryland me and my wife will make it to your show.
Respect.Keep on posting
Thanks Shahak. Wittnessing all this bullying of Jewish people by muslims and left wing activists is unbearable. Thanks to our relativley strong western institutions and democracies not much more gruesome is happening.
But I also disagree with you. There is no reason to boo someone just because the person comes from a particular country.
So true and people don't get it
I'm sorry you had to cancel shows. I like your comedy on CZcams. Stay safe and stay well.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Good one
Shahak, so sad to hear you've had to cancel shows. I fear you've had to in Germany although I hope that isn't the case. Stay strong. Your ancestors are proud. 🇩🇪💙
Dude what are you doing don't explain to these people they don't think and they don't listen. Just do your thing man we like you a lot.
💯💯💯
Just another case of 'okay for me but not for you.'
you put the "d" in BS! 💙
You are 100% correct ❤
@@Shahak-EN Okay, appreciate your standpoint.
@@Shahak-EN what about a joke where the statements to the eurovision contestants, such as joost, bambie, nemo, slimane and eden, are put in the mouth of the political leaders of the conflict; hamas, Netanyahu, biden etc. Or, will it leave a bad taste in the mouth? What about a piece on the new un counsel consisting of merely eurovision contestants? Power politics will never be the same.
legally it was not possible as KAN - the broadcaster - is still independent from the government and there was a disagreement with members
Meta is shameful for taking that down.
12 points to Sachsen-Anhalt (he will hate me for this hahahaha)!
Yeh makes sense
Once again you say it how it is Shahak!
👏👏👏
I don’t find anything wrong with what you said, but would you agree that it’s absolutely awful that Eurovision is including a country that is currently perpetuating a mass murder or innocents? (countries like Russia are being banned for it, why not Israel too?)Yes, i agree that threatening and using violence on a singer is never ok, but how do you feel about the protest themselves? I know you said you have nothing against them, but do you support them? I must say I’ve only watched a bit of your political comedy, and I don’t find anything wrong with what you say, but I believe that in a time where it’s the Palestinians who are facing starvation, forced displacement, and the killing of 35,000 of their people, it is imperative to avoid neutrality and voice support for those who need it most in this times of hardship
Because the situation in Israel and Russia is not the same.
@@itaiharshoshanim-ib6kpyeah because Russia doesn’t have constant surveillance over the Ukrainians. Israel has also displaced and discriminated against Palestinians (even before the nakba)

Well done Shahak … oh and I’m not Israeli or Palestinian … just want peace
This one happened to Russian athletes but I don’t see you made any video for this or you make it only when suits your vision.
