I was bitterly disappointed, but went back and watched the replay. We played some really good footy, the best for several seasons. As others have noted, Clarko needs to take some heat for this loss. BUT, if we can continue to play with this intensity for the rest of this year, then we will get some wins on the board, and set us up for a competitive 2025.
Norf should have won. Should have been 50m penalty. Jack Crisp's goal was clearly touched by Bailey Scott. 3 Collingwood players threw the ball in their backline, and we had a few chances to goal at the end. North are at least competing
Was also pleasing to see how they kept the game alive in the final minutes. Gave themselves opportunities and chances. They were let down by some umpiring and senior players.

@@bdawg3942 At bare minimum, we should've had a shot at goal last week in the lead-up to that iffy htb, because Eddie Ford was undeniably pushed out of the contest AND tripped in the preceding moments of Jy's tackle. Not the same as being denied four clear free kicks/beneficial outcomes in the space of a few minutes
Lets hope that loss gives them the confidence they need to go on with this and play some real good football. Us supporters haven't seen footy like this in ages from the Roos. I was hoping they could of went on and got the win, however that wasnt to be. Nick Larkey will kick 100 in a season soon I predict

There is a lot of positives to take out of that North game. 1 we kicked over 100 points, something we have only done twice in 60 odd games. 2 we lost by a point. It's a big improvement to lose by the smallest of margins then to regularly lose by 40 plus points.

How could you not be of the boys regardless of the result? Half our team hasn't played 50 games lol yet we were able to take it to a top 8 team..give me a break
I’m a crom fan but this guy oozes leadership. Seems like he’s loved by everyone especially the young blokes. Wish I could say the same for my club but our senior blokes are selfish apart from tex. Self entitled. Well done kangas gonna be scary good in 2/3 years.
North would definately won if the umpire had of paid the 50 metre penalty, which was there, north player would have been about 20 metres out from goal, strait in front, maybe beat Melbourne this week
They know how to win. Big pre season and more tempo in the 2nd half and its a win for us. Noticeable difference in ball movement and structure with 3 KPFS playing.

there wasn't 54 points of umpiring mistakes, if they didn't let that easy 2nd pie goal in the 1st 1/4 with 10 seconds to go maybe that would have changed the result
I was sticking with Clarkson before these last two weeks, and whatever happens im remaining supportive. These matches (West Coast, Collingwood) are a huge boost for NMFC. Clarkson & co KNOW what they are doing. GO SHINBONERS 💙🤍💙🤍
