    I've been to San Basilio de Palenque. They give tours there now so if you ever go to Cartagena it is worth a visit. It was a half day tour and they tell about their history, invite you into their homes, talk about the traditions they keep and what not. And the family we visited cooked a traditional meal the traditional way and we even got to help out. It was a really nice experience... It's great to see so much awareness starting to spread about the diaspora.

      @@thadonjuan2339 It was on the back of the door of the hotel we stayed at. On a flyer. So I’m pretty sure most of the tour companies offer it. Some of the cab drivers also had catalog books in their taxis for private tours that can be taken. Lots of options to get there.

    I love your channel..just came across it...here is some food for thought..I've been hearing alot these last couple of years that African Americans were already in America and they are Natives to the land..the lie is to make them.believe they are African descendants. what do you think
