From Philadelphia having one of the most corrupt legal system in the country to the women lying due to the MeToo movement to the only confirmable thing about Cosby being guilty of is infidelity. Oh, he's in a cemetery (I just learned I have spelled cemetery wrong my entire life, and I'm a spelling nazi) he just doesn't know it yet. Cosby will most likely die in prison and it's sad. (not for him) for everyone that actually looked up to the guy (myself included) I've lived in Montana my entire life. The Cosby Show was a great introduction to a white kid that had never seen black people before. I was a white kid that grew up on native american reservations via couch surfing with my schizophrenic mother in the mid 80's. Early 80's I was still most beguiled by Happy Days.
I didn't know about anything about black people at all. Loved the TV family though.
It actually hurt me in an odd way. I don't know how to describe it. His show showed me a false everything about a group of people I knew nothing about. I grew up learning all the shows were bullshit. Then to find out that he was a monster, and so many of the people around were also monsters. ....that's very disheartening.

I remember about 15 years ago, I read an interview with Reggie Nalder, the Austrian actor maybe best known for playing the vampire in "'Salem's Lot," the '70s TV version. He did an awful Disney movie called "The Devil and Max Devlin" where he played Satan and Cosby played a minion of his who got Elliot Gould to collect three souls so he could get his life back. Nalder said something like "Cosby is a talentless pig; I hate him" and at the time, I thought, "Jesus...what's his problem?"

Bill Cosby was my favorite comedian as a child. I had his records and transfered them to my hand held cassette recorder so i could listen to them any time i wanted... it was often. Chicken Heart was beyond my ability to not laugh. Just fantastic. Then i have to learn decades later that this PoS is a monster? I no longer pay attention to anyone "famous", as i am finding all my hero's were perverts and psychopaths. The world is sick when you get up nice and close to it. My advise is stand back... way back.

Nobody would ever accuse me of being a fan of "people", but I find it super interesting that on one hand, there are stories of Bill Cosby's generosity.............RE: supporting HBCU's, and most of his co-stars (minus Lisa Bonet) from The Cosby Show have spoken highly of him. Conversely, there are many many stories by famous people of Bill Cosby's cringy and obnoxious behavior and treatment towards other people. It's been 30+ years and I still remember Eddie Murphy telling how Cosby called him up at the beginning of Murphy's career to criticize and chastise him for using profanity in his act. Speaks to Cosby's arrogance that HE is the final authority and arbiter of what is considered "funny" and "tasteful". At that time, it was difficult to appreciate what Eddie was saying, and salute to Eddie for not fully putting Cosby on blast, because surely Eddie Murphy was aware of all the dark rumors in Hollywood about Cosby.
    "People" are often very 'complicated'.
