As a video editor, I can't imagine how much time it must have taken to locate digital clips of all of these films, determine which clips to use, synch their speed with the perfect segment of the song, and merge them all together. It's a truly stunning technical (and entertaining) accomplishment.

+Mick Kollins then maybe you can elaborate what you are talking about, it looks sloppy, the speed is NOT synced/stretched, its clearly visible, hence the fast cuts. its only aproximated, only the first beat is synced then when it gets too off, it cuts to another scene. cleary theres no time stretch in this vid. if it was stretched properly to the beat it would contain much longer takes.

Still one of my favorite vids, the song choice and editing are just brilliant. I legit did not realize that Nick Cage was mimicking Travolta in Staying Alive until I saw this. This flows seemlessly and it's one of my go to cheer me up vids.

It's a top notch video, but it's missing THAT scene from Singin in the Rain, which is probably the most iconic film dance scene ever.

Wow - nicely done - I'm not even a fan of the song, but with the wide variety of dance scenes it works quite well! Never imagined I'd see Napoleon Dynamite, Charlie Chaplin, and dancing animated mice in the same video.
